Exactly. Dude was super irrelevant and had to result to "super natural mumbo jumbo talk" in order to market himself because he knew that he had nothing to offer outside of that one punch that he was doing his best to land in every fight.

First in order to "bump" a thread, it has to have some amount of time pass on it. Bumping it takes it from the bottom of the pile where it was at and brings it to the top.

This thread was sitting at the top of the board for me. It was the most recent posted, directly above another thread by the same poster in regards to WILDER. Thus, the reason I made my comment. If you notice, I was the first to comment as it had JUST BEEN POSTED.

Now do you have an issue with my comment now that we have established that "bumping" wasn't what was done here.

My question for you is, was my comment directly at the top of your most recent posts thus you responded to me, or did you "bump" this thread for the sake of debate?........lol.

I really don't understand why Wilder won't just reach out to Jake Paul and they set up some massive deal, promote the heck out of it, get in the ring and punch each other to sleep, get paid, and both walk away from the sport.

 

If that's really the plan, he needs a good busy year. 3-4 fights for starts

 

Because wilder is a sportsman with a heart , he has no interest in show exhibitions .

In an open bout even today wilder would kill jake , so jake knows to better stay away

 

The hateful **** is Wilder himself, who has continuously talked about how he wants to kill any opponent, just to get it on his record. **** Wilder, and **** anyone who cries in his defense.

He deserves to get lobotomized by karma and you deserve to be the opponent he wishes for.

Wilder and Broner were the biggest draws on regular TV for PBC. They constantly drew in big numbers.

No argument of that. Clearly, Jake isn't looking for actual competitors otherwise he wouldn't be paying a 60 year old man not to hit him hard in a "glorified exhibition bout".

Wilder is all for the competition, but the reality is, he isn't (truly has never been) elite at this stage in his life. And now that the world doesn't have the fear factor of his signature punch, what is he really going to do to advertise himself in order to get the money he's looking for. Fighting for another 10 years.....dude is what 38/39 today.. We had BHop fight into his 40s but he also brought a skillset along with his heart and charisma. Watching Wilder fight is no different from what one would see in the parking lot of a bar between some young thugs.

 

Not a Christian by any means, but nothing I said was hateful. It was truthful. If I'm wrong, please inform me and the people what it is of value that he will be bringing us for the next 10 years.

 

The crazy thing is, we could call him the "gatekeeper" at this point, but....if that is his title then the door to that gate is barely holding on. Wilder at this point will only be a high profile fight for up and comers trying to make a name for themselves by having a former PPV star on their resume.

Is I am honest my favorite of these is a Hindu story. Parashurama who destroys evil with such vigor he becomes a symbol of violence.
