When crawford beats him casuals will still say he's the best Mexican fighter ever. When benny beats him that's out.

So, you don't have an answer? Why doesn't Benavidez ever mention Beterbiev's name?

They aren't in the same f'n division... are you dense? And in case you haven't noticed, Beterbiev has been busy with Bivol for over a year...

considering Beterbiev and Bivol are tangled up, your argument is garbage

So, why not Beterbiev? Why Bivol?

This is the stupid **** some of these "Stans" be posting. If you dont know wtf you are talking about then keep it moving.

Vergil Ortiz almost DIED. As in, DEAD. In 2022, when still at 147, he was to fight McKinson but days before the fight he had to withdraw d/t rhabdo. It was speculated to be a weight cutting issue and that he was too big.

After a recovery and an adjustments in weight cutting Vergil was slated to fight Stanionis in 2023...twice. He had to pullout in March due to dehydration and an appendectomy then the fight was rescheduled a month later, in April, and during camp Vergil fainted and needed to be resuscitated. He would take a long time off afterward and never fought at 147 again.

His first few fights at 154 were more to see if his body could even get through fight camps and fights than to win belts or impress anyone.

To put it succinctly, NO - you are WRONG. Vergil Ortiz's light competition at 154 was not a tune-up for the sake of getting acclimated at the weight. Those fights occurred after THREE failed training camps and THREE cancelled fights. Vergil wasnt sure if he'd ever fight again, let alone win a title.

To make things clearer, Vergil has made every effort to fight top guys including Crawford, Boots, Jermell Charlo, and recently Xander Zayas.

Boots, on the other hand, passed on fights with Crawford, Haney (inexplicably needed a catchweight), Vergil, Teofimo, and Brian Norman Jr.

    - - -

Vergil and Boots are NOT the same. Not even the same stratosphere.

Janibek almost died too and he's still making weight at 160, fighting the best available. No excuses. Funny how Ortiz had cut so much weight he had a medical issue, but no one called him a weight bully, meanwhile Ennis had a 10 pound rehydration clause.

If you're suggesting that Boots ducked all those names i can't take you seriously, Teo also tried to fight Crawford too but is avoiding someone like shakur, you're pretty gullible. Norman declined a career high payday to fight Boots and Boots was unifying with Stanionis, that's why he stayed at 147 when Turki wanted to make the Ortiz fight. Belts matter more. If Vergil is that good he should be a champion, but he's not, and he ducked an offer from Murtazaliev

I already know Ennis is going to beat Vergil, this conversation serves no purpose

Bruh, this is like talking to a toddler

It won’t matter if he prefers either or, they are fighting a trilogy and he’s gonna have to wait for the winner

CLENelo ducking is the topic but you are deflecting
