Crawford by UD but scorecards might show a robbery thus a rematch happens

I expect Crawford 8-4 or something wide like that

Canelo has cement feet and loads up too much when he walks forward in straight lines towards his opponents.

Crawford going to reset him all night, counter and move out of the way

Crawford is going to win this fight. He has the tools and the know how to win. Canelo is really good as well but Crawford is the more complete skillfull boxer puncher. I keep telling people that size does not win fights skills do.

Close UD for Canelo. Will be closer than the judges say.

I think Crawford wins this fight. The only thing that bothers me is that Crawford is very inactive in recent years. He has 1 fight per year since 2020. Canelo regularly fights at least 2 times per year. Although Ray Leonard was very inactive in the 80s but still scored some great wins. Maybe Crawford would be able to do the same

For all the people picking Crawford how is he going to hurt a man who can stand up to this?

The amount of people (casuals) on social media I see picking Crawford to stop Canelo is absurd. The guy has a pit bull neck, strong traps, and a proven cast iron chin. It's more likely Canelo laughs off Crawford's shots than gets knocked out.

Yep and people who think that Crawford is going to box circles around him have no idea either. The first thing when you are in with a bigger man is you need to be able to make him respect your power even just a little bit. Secondly Crawford is a guy who relies on his own power in all of his fights sure he is highly skilled but he is not some slick defensive master like Mayweather. If he can't earn Canelo's respect he is either going down or his only other option is to run and survive like Charlo but Crawford won't do that because he is not a coward.

    True.

I never thought Canelo had a hope against Bivol.

And in reality, he won two or three rounds at best.

    But Bud is not Bivol.

Canelo should take this, and if Bud is still standing at the final bell (which I doubt will happen), Bud will have won the event, if not the fight.

    Canelo UD.

With similar skills, the bigger man wins. That's how boxing works.

I think canelo will win, but Crawford's skills will make the KO really unlikely.

I think Canelo wins a controversial decision.

I think he has declined enough that Bud will make it competetive, and may even deserve the nod, but it will be close enough that Canelo get's the aware, possibly even such that a rematch is demanded.

The keys to the fight for me are

    1. Can Crawford make Canelo respect his pop? If not, it will be a long night for Bud.
    2. Can Canelo close the distance to be able to plant his feet and drill the arms / body etc? On the flipside it could be a frustating night for Alvarez if he keeps getting reset...
    3. I find it hard to believe that Crawford doesn't ship to the body at some points; how does he deal with bodywork from a natural 168lber who has re-shaped his game very much around bodywork and 'chopping down the tree' with loaded shots? If Bud can minimize & negate these shots, and eat them when they do land, he has much more of a chance.

I wouldn't say i'm salivating about the fight, but as it gets closer, I am getting more interested in how it plays out.

Did he respect Skull's power? I don't even think he hit Canelo but he still ran circles around him all night.

Scull fought in a negative manner. He fought simply to hear the final bell. It's difficult to not only KO, but look good against someone who fights that way.
