Crawford has a better, longer and more consistent jab, Canelo doesn't jab enough and one of the key factors to a big guy beating the smaller guy is reach but Bud has more reach than Bivol.
Bivol didnt win because he had longer arms, bivol won because he could laugh at canelo's punches. Same logic apply here. If it happens that canelo can laugh at crawford's punches, crawford will be extremely lucky if he sees the end of round 12. How much power can crawford carry? that's the question, and we don't know it because we have never watched him fighting at that weight. Imho it is a sucidal movement by crawford, he is clearly cashing out. There is every lilkelihood that he wil have the same fate as rigo or brook when they fought loma and gg, weights exist for a reason, it is extremely important, those jumping several weights to fight a to notch fighter are just cashing out, looking for a pay day they cannot get otherwise.
Canelo didn't land much on Bivol and was simply out-boxed, a punch that could work for him vs Bud would be te left hook to the liver if Bud is in a southpaw stance cause in that stance you're more open to that shot and that's one of Canelo's favourite shots, he didn't land much to Bivol's body, he got completely dominated. Bivol's jab stopped Canelo from opening up.
Canelo landed a lot of punches, and the only thing bivol had to do to negate all canelo's punches was to put his arms up. Canelo could spend the whole night punching bivol and nothing would happen, he doesnt have the power to bother bivol's guard, not even a little bit. When you are the bigger man you dont need to look for the liver, btw, you can just punch a hole through your oponent's body, no need for subtleties. It wasnt bivol's jab what won the fight for bivol, but the endless long combinations he used that negated canelo's way of counterpunching single punches or short combinations. That, and the fact that canelo was not able to actually damage him, as I said, whereas it was pretty clear that canelo was hurt by bivol's punches. The jab? well, yes, it was good, not decisive though. Crawford won't win nothing by only jabbing.
Taking Bud by slight upset Clenelo has been slipping and his lack of solid wins since getting pasted by Bivol tells me he’s scared of a tough fight Bud may be another cherry pick gone wrong
I'm going for Bud points in a slight upset points win. He's going to have to be fully switched on for the 12, Canelo I just think he will give early rounds away, often starts slow. Bud building a healthy lead into 2nd half of the fight. Crawford once he gets into the rhythm of a fight he's what he is a top class boxer. Canelo does cut the ring off well and throws solid hurtful punches but all he does well over the years is now slightly eroding and slower. Glad it's on a platform like Netflix, hope the stream doesn't have issues! Just a tip if it does, I had it happen a couple of times previous events. I pressed pause for about 10 secs and ran it that length behind it being totally live with no problem, lots I've read and friends mentioned the live streams crashing.
I've never picked against Crawford and have always supported him, but I am shocked at how many people think he has a chance against Canelo.
bud’s fists are sledgehammers. His wrestling background will play a huge part if he chooses to engage with Canelo in tight quarters.
