    Marciano vs

    Jim Braddock
    Max Schmeling
    Max Baer
    Tommy Farr

These fighters replace Louis, Walcott, Moore and Charles. Does Marciano go 4-0?

Yes. If it’s against the versions that Louis fought I’d favor Marciano to go undefeated.

0-4. Can't see him beating any of them.

That's right, there's no way Marciano has a chance against Jimmy Braddock :eusa_whistle:

Something about a fight with Farr intrigues me a bit.

I think he beats them all. I will add that the prime version of Baer, not the one Louis fought, would have been a much tougher challenge. He could lose that but I would still favour Rocky.

Tommy Farr had a really good chance to win. He knew how to fight inside.

No, very hard fighting and very hard training gave him back trouble and was challenging for him mentally (though he was up to it for sure). This is a loooooong run and Marciano's style and commitment would work against him I think.

"In the lab" he'd do it easily, best for best, he'd flatten them all, but boxing isn't done in the lab. Cuts and workload and workrate would curl him up.

    I’d favour Schmeling over Marciano.

Because Schmeling is what JJ Walcott wishes he was but with a better gas tank, bigger punch, and more skilful. He would find a home for that right hand counter over the top and he would land it consistently and authoritatively enough to dissuade Marciano’s bum rush tactics.
