I think I fancy a good version of Witherspoon. Haven't really sat down to analyse the matchup though.

Witherspoon the better fighter, he'd get a decision imo

Berbick could be even more erratic than Snipes, which isn’t easy to do. That being said, when motivated he was a tough night for most guys. I would pick Witherspoon by comfortable decision but if he shows up less than 100% then Berbick might out hustle him.

Best for best Witherspoon is going to win a decision. He's got the better skills and plenty of durability to soak up anything Berbick throws at him. Berbick will try to outwork him but Tim's got the answers. He also has the power to hurt Berbick so Trev's going to pay for his aggression at times.

EDIT: You'd typically expect Witherspoon to out-think Berbick over the distance, but he'd be pushed physically in ways he was not especially used to. So, this would be is a tougher outing than usual, and the win would be hard-earned, IMO.

    Witherspoon W UD (12 or 15)

Tim Witherspoon would have the tools to take this, good at neutralizing the jab while landing back with his own, just way more consistency in performance career wise.

I normally dont like giving my own opinion on my own created dream fights, but that is how I feel and I think a late ko for the spoon may be on the cards too!

Possible, tho Berbick seemed durable in the main.
Guy was quite a character,he was perfect for Tyson's first title fight.

I kinda feel the same way. Spoon could punch but Berbick was durable. This might actually be a good brawl

I like Tim to land one of those looping right hands of his for the stoppage. Bang. Berbick will be walking into it & if Tim can land it, it tends to be a fight ender. And I think he hits Berbick with it before 5 rounds.

Depends which Berbick we see. If it’s the guy that outmuscled Thomas, I think he could make it messy for Tim and win a decision over the too-economical’Spoon.

Berbick had a pretty hard head. Which he'd need.

I heard a true factual anecdote about Berbick that explains a lot, man. Berbick's woman was on him to buy this "book on eroticism" and insisted that it would spice things up for them and they would both enjoy it a lot. He got confused and went to the brick and mortar bookstore like they used to have back in olden times and brought back an instructional book on "erraticism." It probably ruined his chances at being a long-reigning champion more than Tyson.

Timmy stops him in about five rnds. That big right like the mercardo and snipes fights would be key. Trev is too barmy to fight different
