Out of nowhere Herrera lands a massive punch and Welland is OUT

 

Just rewatched it. Look like he caught him with a hard left and that was all she wrote.

Welland tried to get up and ref waved it, but he couldn't stand, and fell again. Basically this was a KO, although they'll probably call it a TKO as the ref waved it without a count.

 

He looked like he punched himself out in 2nd going for the KO after he had Herrera on the canvas. Bad stra6ad it turned out.

I don't think his career is necessarily over, presuming he and his team make appropriate adjustments.
