How big of an event is Crawford vs Canelo?

Biggest fight since I was born 1980

 

I thought Lewis-Tyson was bigger.

Pac-Fluid was big too

Fluid-McNugget was big as well

 

Many of my neighbors and friends say they will watch since its not ppv and its not boring corruption where everybody knows who will win

 

I wouldn't say my friends are "casual fans". They aren't as overzealous about boxing as I am, but they definitely aren't casual. My circle is very excited. I think this is a fight fans dream. The majority of the world, I don't think it's a huge event, this is a boxing purists fight........like Bivol/Beterbiev was.

I think being on Netflix and not PPV is gonna also help immensely

 

Its a big event, probably the biggest fight since Tank vs Garcia. I don't think that its among the top 5 of the past decade but its still a much needed event for boxing.

 

Good luck finding a seat at a bar in Mexico on Saturday. This fight is going to be massive down there.

 

If I had a circle of friends I could tell you but I don't. My son and I are very interested in the fight.
