Have we been downplaying Crawford's star power?

It's still difficult to be a HUGE draw, even with a win. Shane Mosley beat Oscar, arguably the biggest draw at the time. That didn't make a draw. It made him more of a relevant name casuals might recognize, but not flock to.

I was under the impression that Mosley was just as big of a draw as Oscar, Tyson, Roy...etc

Mosley never was. Popular, but not a draw

The Scull fight wasn't this talked about. I think this is one of, if not Canelo's most talked about fights in several years.

No one outside of the hardcores really knew who Scull was though. Crawford might not be a huge star but he's from the US and is still as star to a certain degree and he's probably the most well known fighter or certainly in the US Clenelo will have fought since GGG and it's obviously received more media coverage due to the Saudis involvement and it being on Netflix

He has personality, he just freezes on the mic. He has got a little better but not much.
He use to be just terrible. Any question would basically be "we will see come fight day".
I think any other fighter would just have the manager do the talking but the visual of Bomac is even more unmarketable.
I picture what a huge star he would be if he had someone on the level of Angel Garcia doing the **** talking while he just sits back as the silent killer.
