Why was Dubois's jab so useless vs Usyk?

I know Joshua struggled to jab vs Usyk too but i would say Joshua's jab was a lot more effective vs Usyk than Dubois. Why?

It's harder to land a jab on a super mobile and elusive southpaw.

I meant Dubois compared to Joshua.

Because Joshua has a better jab than Dubois. Even though Dubois KO'd him.

Because Dubois is relatively one dimensional compared to Joshua, with Joshua he can use things other than the jab to set up his offense and defense so Usyk has to be more careful and balanced in his approach.

Where as with Dubois he over relies on the jab to set up his offense which is pretty much also his defense so its a lot easier for Usyk to dismantle Dubois' jab because he knows he doesn't have to be careful about other approaches Dubois could take.

Joshua is actually better than Dubious, I think. Dubious getting wrecked by Usyk twice is good evidence for us.
It's clouded by the fact Dubious fought an oldish version and so seems better to people.
But it's complicated. I highly doubt Ruiz wouldn't be splattered by Dubious.

What I recommend to settle it is to have AJ and Dubious fight a few more times. Then we can see who has the better jab and skills and all that. Problem is that AJ didn't want the rematch because he's afraid of getting KO'd even though he is a warrior.

If I was an AJ fan I'd be pretty disappointed that he never wanted revenge against Dubious. Because I actually believe he can win. It's very strange considering he wanted the rematch against Ruiz and Usyk and even Wlad. The only explanation is that he doesn't like risky fights because he's not really a warrior but more of a bully fighter. If we look closer we can see that Wlad was old, Ruiz was a short fat HW with limited power and Usyk wasn't a KO guy. The risk was not quite the same. This probably explains why he never fought Wilder, who was definitely a risky opponent.

Honesty I think the only question is why Usyk didn't perform better than he did against Joshua.
Joshua isn't good. No better than Dubois.

Dubois was way to predictable, all of his movement in that fight more than usual was backwards and forwards.

To land a jab on a mobile target you need to be constantly on the move, with lateral sideways movements. Dubois barely did any lateral movements in the entire fight, he was more one dimensional than usual when he needed multiple dimensions to set up the jab.

AJ is clearly superior to Dubois.

The problem is he's not superior enough to still beat him when his heart isn't in the hard training.

Because duboi,s daddy accepted (a well paid) contract where his son does not jab and does not perform body shots but instead enjoys a party ?

Its obvious that duboi,s performance that night was bad enough to be stopped by justis huni easily .

Dubois neglected his jab as he thought his blast out of Joshua and the subsequent lauding of this mythical power that he had,he was now so confident he merely had to touch Usyk and the victory was his. Dubois simply but stupidly over looked the boxing ability of Usyk and paid the price .

I think that’s unfair. He tried to jab he actually sets off all his offence using the jab. Usyk took it away, that’s why he became very pedestrian and tentative. Watch back his reaction to usyk first jab, it reads shell shocked, remember he was stopped by a jab in their previous encounter, would not rule out that initial jab scrambling his game. When he jabbed and reached, and fell short he got countered hard. And that was all she wrote
