I'm actually surprised that people are thinking that Crawford has absolutely no shot. Perhaps lose but not without putting up a hard fight. A great fighter like Bud is gonna be a live underdog who isn't going to just lay down even if he's the one moving up in weight. I'm almost positive that Crawford is at least going to put on a much better showing than Charlo did.

He might because he's a better fighter than charlo but he has no business at 168. This is nothing but a cash out fight for Crawford and that's okay I guess it's his life but id much rather see Crawford fight boots Ortiz or fundora instead.

I read Crawford's purse will be 50 millions. I would have done the same, tbh. The only way to feed your family is money.

Win or lose one thing is certain Bud will give it a go unlike that female dog Charlo did.

115-113 vs Madrimov at 154, but boxes circles around Canelo at 168? Can't see it.

Yeah it's a bummer that we didn't get to see Bud against Boots, Ortiz, Fundora, or Murtazaliev before moving up. Those are much more fascinating, more even match ups for him but I get that he's wanting a big money fight and he does sound confident in his chances. I just wish he faced at least one of those guys before going after Canelo. Win or lose against Canelo it's not going to be ideal for Bud to drop back down to 154 to face any of those guys because he could end up being absolutely shot like RJJ.

Even if they had always fought at the exact same weight classes, Canelo would win. He's the better boxer. People think Crawford is better because he looks 'slick' but that doesn't actually mean he's a better boxer.

I views this as a cash out because history has shown me great fighters aren’t great at higher weight classes. Everytime one of these multiple weight jumps happen, it’s almost always a boring disappointment

It's a different style, but a sharp counter can deter Canelo whether it's in volume or single shots.

The odds for this fight are fairly close. Canelo is only at -170. AJ was a bigger favorite (-250) against Usyk in the first fight.

That means the bookies are thinking what a lot of people are thinking. Canelo is not that much bigger than Crawford. His resume post-Bivol has been lousy. He's been cherry picking and avoiding fighters. 2 of his last few opponents got brutally stopped, while Canelo himself hasn't had a stoppage in years. He is also 35 years old.

The only real big advantage he has going for him are the judges. This is going to be a close fight.

Bookies just have it wrong here. Crawford has an aura of invincibility because of his undefeated record and p4p status. Remember Haney was only a -200 favorite against Kambosos.. that was the easiest money ever.

So you are going with the proxy support for Mayweather over Crawford.

Ah no I like both fighters but will be rooting for Crawford even though it's gonna be a demolition job.

Canelo deserves respect if he pulls it off. I don't think Crawford will be an an easy night. I'll think he'll win.

Crawford can always drop back down to 160 if he loses….

Americans listen up. Just enjoy a good fight marred by a crappy midweek if not one of the worst mid weeks of all time.
