Weigh-in results for Canelo-Crawford (including undercard)

In case someone wants to know what Canelo and Crawford weighed (in the Canelo-Crawford weigh-in thread) without watching a video:

Saul Alvarez 167.5

Terence Crawford 167.5

(It took me 10 minutes to find this in writing somewhere on the internet. I’m not going to watch the weigh-in video to find out what someone weighed.)

 

ive pointed that out numerous times over the years, but most just dont understand it. i think its because they believe everyone is made up the same way if they are identical in height and weight. but they arent made the same way. canelo is a rawboned densely put together little fire hydrant. bud is a thin frame putting on bulk to achieve similar dimensions. but his artificial bulk will not perform the same way canelos natural bulk will.

The size disparity doesn't look to be that big as I once thought. Crawford is going to surprise alot of people in this fight win lose or draw. Viva Canelo Cabrones!

 

Crawford making the same mistake as all these other past small guys moving up in weight not using their main advantage to be faster he should’ve come in at 162 IMO. Why do you think Roy Jones came in at 190 when he fought Ruiz. You don’t take away your natural advantage. Canelo is going to stop him.

 

Crawford looks way overweight, imo. Not good for him. He's going to be slow and gas out fast.

Crawford looked a bit nervous during the staredown. Not that I think it means anything at all.

 

Yeah a lot of people genuinely don't seem to understand that even though people might look the same size they can have a different body make up, some dudes are just dense as and weight a lot despite the appearance if their stature.

 

Yeah, like WTF!! was that necessary?
