    Weirdly 90%+ of boxers from Ireland and Northern Ireland are Catholics. But of late it's only the Protestants ones who win the World Titles (Crocker, Frampton and Taylor.)

    Boxing is a sport of individuals. Plenty of bellends from England. Conor Benn, Tyson Fury etc.

    Katie Taylor isn't a protestant, she's a born again Christian.

    But why are we bringing religion into the conversation?

    I'm a proud Dubliner, and I've no issue supporting a northern Ireland protestant..... Like I've no issue supporting an English boxer. Religion or nationality shouldn't come into it.

    Can't believe the odds Crocker was and how much the bookies were willing to lay him for. Had some lumpy bets in my time but nothing like this and got as much as I could on Crocker at an average of 5/1.
