if Turki wants to pay them another 9 figures for a rematch, it’ll happen. Otherwise they might both retire.

crawford did something remarkable today. canelo was not slow, he was not gassed out in the later rds, he got his shots in and still got outboxed and outfought. he showed a lack of urgency, and tried to outbox bud too much, but thats on him.
    bud is p4p #1. easily.

I stopped scoring after a few rounds so i will have to rewatch it. But at first glance, it does seem that Canelo landed the harder shots especially body shots. I don't think it was as one sided as people are claiming but Bud clearly won the last 2 rounds so at first glance, i give him the edge.

The casual viewing figures won't be high enough or maybe I underestimate the amount of Canelo and Crawford fans.

Canelo's as tough and mean as they come, mate.

But he's slowing down now and missing a lot when loading up.

He never stops coming forward and he's got a great chin. Sometimes that's all you need.

Absolute masterclass from Crawford. P4P best on the planet and after today, an ATG.

It's easy for an elite boxer who can move to outbox Clenelo. He cannot cut the ring off to save his life and we know for a fact that even in his prime he cannot deal with that style. Hence why he's lost or struggled badly with almost all movers. Scull gave him nightmares in his last fight for goodness sake. This slow pedestrian past prime version is even easier to outbox. That wasn't a masterclass by Crawford he just had to implement a simple game plan and Clenelo once again looked like a fish out of water

I think Crawford is an exceptional fighter but I have been more impressed by him in virtually every other performance of his than this one. Clenelo is not a complete fighter and never was. He's a cement footed one dimensional plodder who only looks good Vs fellow plodders and Crawford whilst older has way less miles on his clock and is still sharp and still Crawford, Clenelo is not sharp at all anymore which is one of the reasons I picked Crawford to win and obviously because Clenelo can't deal with movement to save his life

Complete fighters can deal with any style and can land their shots Vs any style, Clenelo cannot

Why couldn't we get this panel doing the commentary?

(Antonio Tarver, Mark Kriegel, and Mario López)

Would have been a huge improvement.

I love all the cope and seethe in the comments. Clenelo lost. I’ve been screaming for months that I thought Bud was gonna win this fight due to the fact that Canelo got waxed by Bivol several years ago and hasn’t fought anyone with a pulse since. Also, he’s getting up there in age and he’s had a lot of fights and a lot of wear and tear.
