I love all the cope and seethe in the comments. Clenelo lost. I’ve been screaming for months that I thought Bud was gonna win this fight due to the fact that Canelo got waxed by Bivol several years ago and hasn’t fought anyone with a pulse since. Also, he’s getting up there in age and he’s had a lot of fights and a lot of wear and tear.

I absolutely agree, and I was one of the guys who gave him a chance to win, lose or Draw.

Seven kids?! Should go onto his record - 49-0, now equal to Rocky Marciano.

The best part of the fight was watching Crawford use all his mental energy trying not to square up and beat Canelo's basic ass up in the close range. Hilarious. He was gagging for it at the end. Shame it wasn't 15 rounds.

That's not a prime Crawford and you left out Crawford was the older man and he moved up 2 weights. The cope is strong here

Kellerman and his glazing genuinely detracted from the moment for me. You can appreciate the moment without telling everyone how to feel and trying to make everything sound like the greatest thing ever.

Who do you want him to fight? Benavidez? Bivol? These fights aren’t happening. These guys are too large.

Canelo has been washed for the past few years I don't know why people ever thought Canelo was a massive favourite.

Crawford walks around at 180 and can easily make 168.

Canelo has had like 1 stoppage in 4 years and his recent performances have been dull 12 round decisions in which he didn't look impressive.

Canelo has concrete feet so a master boxer like Crawford was always going to be a problem for Canelo as we see against Mayweather.

Combination of how strong Crawford is and Canelo is not a ko artist.

All excellent fighters but Usyk's challenges that he had to overcome have been significantly bigger than those of Inoue and Crawford.

I'm a big Inoue fan but aside from Fulton, 122 is quite a thin division (looking forward to the MJ fight) and it is true that his career has been missing those wins over ATGs aside from an old Donaire. Very dominant wins but just a lack of top-tier competition.

Crawford is clearly a great boxer as well but the fight today established how ridiculous his size is for where he's spent most of his career. I had Canelo winning a close fight personally but judges clearly liked what they saw from Crawford more and he deserves props for the fight tonight. Crawford has clearly been pulling some crazy magic tricks to beat up welterweights when he didn't look out of place at all at 160/168 today.

Usyk's wins over AJ and Fury are more impressive than anything that Inoue or Crawford have done in their career imo, those people are significantly bigger than him naturally and even though AJ's skills weren't up to par, the power and size advantage is an enormous thing to overcome. I do wonder if Usyk would have beaten pre-Wilder Fury (I believe those 3 fights took a lot out both guys) but at the end of the day, Fury's skills were still there and he only has himself to blame for his lifestyle and getting clipped in those fights.
