The first five rounds Canelo had an argument for shading all of them, not sure what everyone was so floored by. It wasn't some masterclass. I think it's merely a case of everything thinking Crawford was going to get KO'd and giving him more credit than he deserves. He overperformed and subverted their expectations.

You are the one that needs to cope that Usyk will not be surpassed in this generation.

I just realized that the last time Canelo did not have a world title around his waist was in 2018.

The thing with Bud with all his skills and ability he is a very spiteful puncher. I did not think Canelo could just walk through his punches and he is so physical strong.Did you notice Canelo could not turn or bully him in the clinches.

Of course I’d have to watch again but the best I can do for Canelo atm is 116-112 for Crawford.

    Round 1 - 10-9 Alvarez
    Round 2 - 10-9 Crawford
    Round 3 - 10-9 Alvarez
    Round 4 - 10-9 Alvarez
    Round 5 - 10-9 Alvarez
    Round 6 - 10-9 Crawford
    Round 7 - 10-9 Crawford
    Round 8 - 10-9 Alvarez
    Round 9 - 10-9 Crawford
    Round 10 - 10-9 Alvarez
    Round 11 - 10-9 Crawford
    Round 12 - 10-9 Crawford

Final Score 114-114 Personally. I would have been fine with 115-113 either way.

I watched the fight at my son's house and we had a great time. Funny how even though this fight was not nearly as action packed as Mbilli-Martinez it was still a more enjoyable fight to watch.

Boxing is such a better sport when two of the top dogs go head to head.

I thought Bud was able to hurt Canelo, not like knock him out hurt him but buzzed him. And it discouraged Canelo from throwing recklessly. In the 12th I think Crawford could have potentially got KD had he really pressed the issue

talk about being dramatic. Canelo is not even a massive power puncher, the fact that you would fear for Crawford‘s health is hysterical.

True. I think people look at it as the fighters who came after Floyd and Pacquiao. Canelo, Usyk, Inoue, Charlo Brothers, Spence, etc. Then the era after them is like Shaur, Ennis, Teofimo, Haney, etc.
