Yes. Like I said, the blueprint to beat even a prime Clenelo has well and truly been established and that's 3 times he's lost to the same style and everytime he'd looked absolutely clueless how to solve the puzzle. All Crawford had to do was execute a very simple game plan and not get caught with one of those big telegraphed overhand hooks which you can see coming no problem and just get your gloves up in time

I agree with this somewhat, however, i do believe Bivol vs Beterbiev one was EVEN HIGHER than what i witnessed from Fury Usyk 1. That Bivol Beterbiev 1 was getting me mentally drained just watching it, can only imagine how they were feeling

Last time I checked, landed shots count, that's how Chris Algieri and Paulie Malignaggi won most of their matches, while literally never hurting anyone. What? Are we supposed to disqualify anything that doesn't rop someone now?

I respect that, some people cant handle it once their opinion/prediction pre fight doesnt prevail and they have to somehow justify it. Its just sport.

I think before the 11 and 12 there were two rounds each that were pretty decisive for each fighter, I can see people calling it close but for me I thought Crawford edged the closer rounds with his combinations.

Forget about no effect, they weren't even LANDING. Fewer than 1 in 10 actually hit a legal scoring area on Crawford's body. So...in the 5-10% range. It's what literally always happens when Canelo tries scoring body shots on movers with quicker feet (Trout/Mayweather/Lara etc) - he fails miserably and churns the air. The few that do thud home stick in people's minds and they just copy & paste in their memory thinking "oh he landed a bunch of body shots in that round" when no, he landed one, maybe two ..and threw a dozen more that hit Crawford's elbows, or his back (not a legal scoring area), or literally no part of him whatsoever.

Yes but I don’t think fury usyk was that high level, the bivol beterbiev fights were the highest level I’ve seen in a long time

Clenelo hasn't stopped anyone in 4 years despite cherrypicking like crazy.

Look what Sheeraz did to Berlangy in his first fight at the weight

What featherfist Surace did to Mung

What Mumg did to Juan Ryder

What Shishkin did to Scull hurting him badly with a freaking jab and almost stopping him in round 12

Look at Plant losing to a MW who has been knocked out 2 fights earlier and how Plant was dropped and nearly KO'd early by a club fighter

The signs of decline were as clear as day. Clenelo stops those guys in his prime.

You think I would've been so confident of Crawford winning if this was the Clenelo of 5 years ago?

I don't think anyone can get the super middleweight belts from Crawford until he retires.

Depends imo a head snapping jab is better than a hip shot on the protector.a liver shot or well placed sternum punch yes is worth more.

Let's get things straight, Canelo would have always had problems with Bud, no matter the age, no matter the experience. His feet are made of lead, he has no jab, and he's facing an elusive southpaw who can punch as well as box.

One thing for damned sure was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Weight bullies do exist, and Bud Crawford might be the sport's most egregious offender.:deal: He looked massive in there, against Canelo, who usually looks massive.
