Dude. No. If he's gonna fight again, he should try snipe a belt at 160 for 6 division champ now or go back to 154 and try get undisputed there for 4 X undisputed. He can lose at 168 lbs + Canelo was a favourable match for him.
This. Already knew this would happen if crawford won. Lol Don’t get me wrong crawford did well to move up (This really is close to his natural weight class) and get the win but let’s not act like Bivol didn’t beat a better version of Canelo and Triple G unofficially beat a roided up peak version of Clenelo but got robbed. No doubt crawford deserves credit but this win will get overrated by many. And Bivol will beat crawford if that fight happens. Have no doubt. And USYK is the best of this generation.
I knew Crawford would school Canelo. Anybody who thinks Crawford beats Bivol, is obviously on drugs and yes, Usyk is the best, **** the rest.
Anyone with a boxing brain knows Bivol wins this wide. The real question isnt can Bud win, but rather, can Bud win a round. The funny thing is, Bud has a boxing brain, and thus he knows himself he cant beat Bivol (or Beterbiev, or DB) Thats why hes not going to 175. Smart guy.
Bivol is all wrong for Crawford.. Canelo fight was tactical matchmaking.. He's always struggled with athletic boxer types..
What a great insightful thread. I didn't realize Crawford was so great. The OP must be a boxing mastermind.
Bud isn't stupid. He's already ruled out Benevidez at 175, and that would be a money making fight due to Hispanic fans. All boxing fans appreciate Bivol but he doesn't draw either casuals or Hispanics. I've no idea who he will fight but it won't be at 175. A rematch would make him a ton of $$$ but no one wants that fight, especially Canelo.
As far as I can see, everyone is panicking and crying out things like "Bivol would tear Crawford apart." In my opinion, Crawford is much more agile and far more skilled than Bivol. Bivol wouldn't even be able to land a proper punch on Crawford. Just as Crawford did with Canelo, he'd give Bivol a solid boxing lesson and win decisively by unanimous decision.
