Going to be honest - Inoue is usually a joy to watch but after all the hype around this, it's kind of a drag to watch (and that's with me avoiding spoilers, although at this point I'm fairly confident it's going to be a UD for Inoue...in the 11th round now)

I might even say it's duller than Bud vs. Canelo unfortunately. Akhmadeliev had fought like a giant puss since about the halfway point.

Was expecting a hard tough test for Inoue only for it to turn out to be another easy day at the office for Inoue. I guess because we’ve been so spoiled with seeing Inoue not only put away his opponents in emphatic fashion but also taking more chances it ended up pretty dull in terms of excitement but at the same time it’s understandable considering MJ’s power and also not wanting to take any chances now that he’s signed a deal with Riyadh Season.

A very dominant, brilliant and impressive boxing performance from Inoue with flashes of his usual vicious offense. MJ just had no answer but at least he can say that he finished the fight on his feet throughout 12 rounds.

 

I don't really understand that.

Re-watch Bam vs. Sunny Edwards. High speed technical war. Fights like that, I don't give a damn if the fighters are the size of 12 year olds, those fights are amazing and those dudes are skilled warriors. When the little guys like that get into a scrap, it's awesome because they don't get tired and can just keep blitzing each other. When's the last time you saw a 115 lb'er gas out in the ring? It doesn't happen.

Insane ring IQ and all round skills. Still hard to believe that it took Inoue beating Fulton for people to finally acknowledge the elite boxing skills that Inoue possesses and was more than just a power puncher.
