He was fighting smart and wasn't really running. But in hindsight he could have stayed in place and traded with him more, like he did in later rounds. He was able to **** Canelo up more and win even more impressively.
CLENelo got waxed how many clean blows do he land last night on Crawfords face I don’t recall too many
Canelo was the aggressor, Bud was being way too cautious, and even if Crawford started strong, he spent the rest of the rounds on his bicycle. You cannot win rounds clearly like that. Also, the commentators (and judges) were ignoring Canelo's bodyshots. It was a horrible, forgettable fight cause of Crawfords Road Runner tactics.
Canelo might have been moving forward but he wasn't effective. Canelo got in some good body shots and maybe a few decent shots to the head but Crawford won most exchanges. Crawford didn't run. He used mobility to keep the Canelo off balance and to break up his rhythm.
Crawford beat Canelo everywhere in the ring and in every way… He outfought him during exchanges and out boxed him in between. Canelos inability to throw more than 1 punch at a time has let him down - once again… The couple times he let his hands go he did have Crawford panicking, then he would do nothing and Crawford would IMMEDIATELY take back control of the action (possibley the best thing Crawford did in the fight - he never let Canelo build any momentum when he did have success)
Ok I'll entertain your BS. So basically Crawford.. a guy going up 3 weight classes has to stand in the middle of the ring and slug it out all 90 seconds of every round or else his win doesnt count... is that what you are saying?
Maybe a round or two where it was like that but for the most part, Crawford moved and was punching. That’s not running. Running is excessive movement without punching.
