As good as Crawford is...does he have a better resume than Tim Bradley?

Majority felt Crawford beat Canelo clearly its not considered controversial.

Bradley's "win" over Pacquiao is considered one of the worst decisions in a big fight of the modern era and widely hailed as a robbery so listing that as a legit win is a bit of farce.

They're not even remotely comparable examples.

Spence was undefeated and a champion Casamayor was 40 years old considered shot and was 2-2 in his last 2 fights and hadn't had a notable win in years.

You're listing names but there's no context applied at all.

For example beating Casamayor in the early 2000s when he was a relevant fighter would mean alot more than beating a completely shot 40 year old Casamayor in 2011.

It does remove the fact of what you said when proper context is applied.

    Never let anyone forget this.

But by the same stretch never let anyone forget Khan ducked Thaxton.

You have to remember that his biggest win in that group is widely regarded as the biggest robbery of the past thirty years.

Take that away, as it must be, he's in the conversation, but only briefly.

    Bud is / was greater.

Crawfords resume is very weak but he proved that he has skill. His skill can hang with the best but the resume is weak.

    There was full context applied
They were names in an overall resume which holds up well to Crawfords

I haven't said one is or isn't greater but listed the names and felt it holds up well when compared

Weak divisions? Light Welterweight and Welterweight were stacked during Bradley's era.

That's why I said he would be "in the conversation."

You picked a few names to try and forge more of an argument
You have to look at the overall

I did and I've already said it's a solid resume but some of the names need some context.

Listing Casamayor without mentioning he was shot and 40 years old.

Listing Pacquiao when the fight is widely regarded as a robbery hence no one considers it a legit win.

Listing Marquez who again was 40 years old and was not a Welterweight.

And when these names are some of the most notable names on his resume context needs to be applied that it's not quite as good as it first appears and that's the point.
