Honestly I really don’t feel I need to respond to this message because even Canelo realises he was out classed. You are in denial!
Bud landed most of the harder, cleaner shots. I know Canelo felt his power. Were there stretches were he got on his bike a tad? Yes, but that's to be expected moving up 2 weight classes, he had to be smart. In the end, he still schooled Canelo. If you disagree, no big deal.
Perhaps but in both fights Canelo landed more power punches. And against GGG, the power punch advantage was a lot more. Canelo landed more body shots on Bud than GGG but also received more than from GGG. Canelo also landed at a significantly higher % overall against Bud and GGG, but the gap between him and Bud in % was much more. The compubox numbers really favor Canelo here.
Every time a fighter is boxing smart and not taking unnecessary chances it’s always considered “running”. Crawford did no running at all in fact there were times where he pieced up Canelo even on the inside. That was shades of Whitaker vs Chavez boxing mastery except there was no robbery this time.
I don't have a problem with him winning, but I also thought Canelo performed at a high level and arguably did enough to retain his title. Bud got very favorable scoring but I wouldn't call it a robbery. Bud fought a great fight but I think the takeaway I got is that outside of those couple big moments from Bud, Canelo seemed to control most of the fight, controlling center ring, landing more power shots, being the consistent aggressor. In some rounds it was effective aggression, in other rounds it wasn't. It was really a very even fight, but it's being talked about like it was one sided. This fight proved that both these fighters are evenly matched and they could easily have a trilogy with each fighter winning 1.
"Couple of big moments"? Bro just stop. You spewing all this won't change the outcome or anyone's opinion on what most saw, which is a schooling.
