Abe Simon would be top 10 today and probably give Usyk serious issues

Abe Simon and Buddy Baer were 2 big Spastics. Anyone that puts them in same class as Lewis Fury etc. doesn’t know which end is up. Maybe you’re letting nostalgia cloud your judgement guys? Just look at the the videos side by side it’s no comparison those guys were stiffs.
I have to think Walcott was a dive or just took it on very short notice. Remember blacks weren’t allowed to fight for the title back in those days so that was pretty much the only options.

A slaughter worst then the second Louis fight. Usyk might not miss a single punch he throws.

I was thinking the same about the dive. Makes me wonder how many losses on Walcott's record...and there were a lot of them...were legit, because it's very difficult to believe that Simon would have beaten him. Simon had no skill, no defense, and appeared to not have much power despite his size. As it stands though the L-KO6 to Simon is still on Walcott's record. Simon also held Turkey Thompson to a Draw, and outpointed contender Roscoe Toles. Weird.
