Would anyone actually be interested in seeing Crawford against Benavidez or is that going to be too much of a fantasy for it to happen?

This is never happening. Canelo is more likely to fight Benavidez now that he has nothing to lose as long as Turki has the money

Would much rather see Canelo fight Benavidez even if hes declined than Crawford. That said i think Crawford could beat him too lol.

Benavidez would retire Terence… if that fight happened it would be a bloodbath.

Benavidez is far too big; he's 6 feet 2 and has a huge frame that he fills into post weigh-in. I know I said Canelo was too big, but Benavidez is definitely too big. He also has great hand speed for his size, so it'd be a pretty horrible watch. I don't even think he could make 168 anymore, but I don't like this fight at all for Crawford.

Benavidez is actually significantly bigger than Crawford, is in his prime, still has his speed, power, engine and output and isn't on a four year KO drought

Depending on what Crawford weighed last night, somewhere between 175-180 would be my guess and I'm leaning more towards the later. Benavidez was coming in about 185 at 168 and he's weighed 189 and 196 at LHW

LHW/former massive SMW Benavidez has a a whopping half an inch longer reach than Crawford

Maybe Crawford could see what it's like on the other side of being a weight bully vs Benavidez facing a much bigger opponent for the first time albeit he'd probably have to go up to CW or HW to be on the wrong side of a big reach disadvantage and the David vs Goliath narrative would be a bit more apt this time albeit Goliath would be named David too in this instance

Could Crawford defeat someone who weighed anything from 15-20lbs more than him?

Yes. I do want to see it. Benavidez, Bivol, Beterbiev. Lets go.

You're probably right but what if he didn't? What then? Canelo was a LHW champ and he just beat him.

Crawford will either rematch Canelo or retire.

Crawford is an ATG but he does not have the balls to fight Benavidez.
