Dwight Muhammad Qawi was a force at 175 and he was 5′ 6½″. He also managed to win a title at Cruiserweight as well.

Canelo hit Bivol often. Not all of them counted as clean punches as he was trying to wear down his defense. A plan that never worked.... ast least not within the 12 rounds he had to make it happen.

Moving up is always more impressive to me.

Bivol was a bit more dominant, though honestly not that much more. He also fought a less shopworn version of Canelo.

That said, it's pretty close because Bud moved up two divisions and clearly handled a guy who was naturally larger and still a very good fighter.

If Bivol wanted to I think he could have stopped Canelo despite Bivol not bieng a big puncher but wasn't worth the risk. Was fun seeing Canelo utterly frustrated and dejected whilst Bivol just stuck on his jab out at range.

Bivol Canelo was probably roided also

Obviously Bivol. Bivol won more convincingly against a better version of Canelo

No most of Canelo's shots bounced off Bivol's high guard.

Then you aren’t watching his fights, post-Mayweather Canelo beat GGG, pre-Mayweather Canelo would get murdered.

Read my post again. I said he never improved against guys with good footwork and movement. Golovkin always had an excellent jab and great footwork, but he used it to stay within striking range. Guys like Mayweather, Lara, Bivol and Crawford use their footwork to get out of range quickly, dip in, strike and get out all while using an educated jab to disrupt. Canelo. CA always struggled with top tier operators like that.

I did say Bivol, he looked a million dollars.

But Crawford jumped 2 full weight classes and fought Canelo at his weight so he takes it for me.

Both looked impressive but Bud gets more credit as the man coming up fighting the "bigger" man, than the bigger man fighting the guy coming up.

You can say so. A smaller weight class guy beating a bigger weight class guy will always have the edge in impressiveness.

You mean like Lara? Saunders? Plant? Guys that would beat the Canelo before Mayweather?

EVERYONE struggles with good movement lmao, Mayweather, Bivol and Crawford didnt beat Canelo simply because they moved well, plenty did and failed, they beat him because they were better.
