You are just a cry baby lad. I am no Canelo fan I openly said before the fight that I don't care who wins. If you think that was the best version of Canelo then you really don't know what you are watching lad. A lot of American fighters are weight bullies that just happens to be a fact. I never said it was cheating though if they can make the weight that is all that matters I just don't think it is very noble. If I was jealous of talent why would I be a big fan of Loma and Usyk two of the most talented fighters of this last generation? I applauded Loma for being the first guy to stop my man Kambosos.
Bud is now considered #1 by the publications and media that matter. Whatever the nerds here think about it doesn’t matter outside this forum. Just the way it’s gonna be.
I can't think of many things more nerdy than a p4p list. Usyk beats all man on planet Earth. As HW champ he is the baddest man around.
So that would be assessing greatness. Pound for pound means if all fighters were the same size who would win. You can't do that. Fighters do no scale up.
Again, what’s considered nerdy or who the nerds here think is p4p #1 doesn’t matter. Those who matter and understand the concept of p4p will have Bud as #1, and that’s what history will show. That’s just the way it is.
Like i said it has already happened the ring has just listed him as p4p#1 and others will follow suit. wishful thinking excuse making and hate cant stop the inevitable. https://ringmagazine.com/en/pound-for-pound/Men
I think most this sub would still have guys like SRR and Greb and Armstrong ahead of him even if he did that for some reason.
Exactly the very same people who used these publications as validation of Usyk's #1p4p ranking are now trying to discredit them as they have moved Crawford into the #1 spot. I mean you cant make this type of hypocrisy up. It's funny to watch though.
Usyk was never P4P 1 by his own admission. I never had him in my P4P discussion. Heck, even Lennox Lewis was not P4P best in his prime. Usyk might be a solid H2H HW top 10 in history if you want, but P4P is a different thing where you need to take all the fighters across the divisions, not just the current HW bums. lol
Not much in it between the three of them. Usyk had already defeated Dubois, while Crawford moved up two divisions to face a guy who was still entrenched in the lower part of the p4p top ten. Think that edges it for me. Bud back out in front by a nose. Inoue close behind, and can get back into the number one slot with a win over Junto next year.
I don't think this fight was a pound for pound type of display. They are the same size. Good win for Crawford but it was a fight between two similar sized guys.
Nobody cares lad. If you need a publication to tell you who is the best then you don't really know what you are watching.
