Bud Crawford vs Michael Nunn

Seeing that Bud is being put against past MW/SMWs, it's interesting to hear how he'd do against someone that's taller and arguably more slicker than him. Personally I think Peak Nunn would make a lot of fighters today look silly.

 

Bud is a better finisher, Nunn never beat anyone as skillfull as Bud.

 

Who has Bud beat as skillful as Nunn ?

 

Crawford is not beating Nunn. Too small, and prime Nunn is a different level than current Canelo.

 

Even against a prime Canelo, I have Nunn frustrating and making him look confused in the ring. Coasting to a clear UD

 

Gamboa was faster than Nunn.

 

He could only get a split vs a face first brawler like Barkley.

Bud is around the same height as a lot of Nunn's opponents and has a longer reach than most of them and can easily match prime Nunn's power. Staring took Nunn to a split and Starling was the same height and reach as Bud.

 

Nunn was overrated. He lost every big fight

 

Gamboa was hella quick and the smaller weight classes are usually quicker.

 

How many slick movers has Crawford beat ?

Nunn is actually FASTER then Bud and is a 6'2 southpaw with some pop.

 

Crawford's speed is Roy Jones-like. Nunn was more Floyd

 

Not even close to Jones in terms of speed.
Go watch Nunn vs Tate and tell me Bud is that fast at middleweight.
