This was a very shocking result, that I dont see anyone talking about. Adams was coming of a loss and was 36, Bohachuk on the other hand was younger with 4 more years of experience since their previous fight which he was doing well in until Adams hit him with a left hook from hell. This fight was not supposed to go this way especially after Bohachuk arguably beating the current number 1 ranked in the division Ortiz. This has to be one of the biggest upsets of the year. Thoughts on the fight and where Adams and Bohachuk go from here. Do you think Adams can challenge for a title? Can Bohachuk regain his form?

I suppose, but it was a sort of fortunate punch ko. I'll never say lucky but he was fortunate to land that hook but this time he clearly outboxed him

Great fight. Adams was robbed in his last fight so really he should’ve been coming in from a win against a good opponent.

Bohachuk is a good fighter but I think that will end up being his best night. Ortiz has looked a lot better than he did that night and I’d bet on him to win a rematch.

I think Adams could be a champion, he has really good inside fighting skills as shown here, and is good fighting off the ropes as shown in his last fight, two skills that are not very common anymore. Could be a good fight with the guy who just got elevated to WBA champ?

Also got round to this today, I mentioned before that the first fight skipped my radar and the result was a big surprise. I considered Bohachuk the winner vs Ortiz in a very good fight and felt like he could be the sleeper in the division, but Adams once again proved to be the better man and won this fight very comfortably. Pretty much took over from round 6, looked very strong, good combinations, excellent rugged inside work, in my eyes a worthy contender in the division to keep an eye on, I hope the opportunities are presented to him on what you feel would be the close of his career. The ease in which Bohachuk was swept aside in the final few rounds, I do fear for him his opportunity has now gone, after missing out with the Ortiz result, and ultimately following the first fight outcome he would have been very motivated by this fight.
