Anthony Fowler on Ricky Hattons Death

Can you remember when / where Graham said that about the people around Hatton mate? Guessing a YouTube interview somewhere was it

 

Off the top of my head, I’m pretty sure it was when Billy did his own podcast series — definitely up on YouTube. He didn’t go into chapter and verse, but he hinted strongly the split came down to the people Ricky had around him as much as anything in the gym.

I honestly think Fowler is just spectacularly dense and probably has some borderline intellectual disability. He's become so hypnotised by his CBD grift that he doesn't know how to post online without shoehorning it in somewhere, regardless of what he's talking about.

Obviously, this is in terrible taste, but shoehorning CBD oil into a tribute post about Hatton strikes me as something a complete moron would do rather than someone being exploitative. I could be wrong, though, I haven't seen the actual post, but that's what my gut says.

 

It was actually worse as the 'tribute' to Ricky Hatton was shoehorned into his CBD oil sales pitch.

 

Oh really yeah? I shouldn't have commented on it until I saw the clip really, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. What a clown.

 

Money and fame do strange things to people — they’re enhancers, really. They make you more of who you already are, but they don’t suddenly make you smarter, more self-aware, or emotionally intelligent. Fowler is what he is. Fair play, he’s managed to build a business model that’s kept him financially afloat in a way his boxing career never did, but it’s all turnover-driven, with ever-shrinking margins, so the hustle never stops.

At the end of the day, though, he’ll always be that same lad — not all that different from Michael Carroll after the lottery win. Different vehicle, same story.
