I see this has quickly become the new GGG fan dream scenario. :roto2palm:

Hey, if you can't beat him, try beating the guy who beat him.:qmeparto:

Hey, I get it, I know life is tough as a GGG fan, after losing to Canelo and all. (And I mean this sincerely, not in a mocking sense) And that this is the next logical progression to the GGG saga. All this time GGG has just been sitting at home waiting for something to happen in boxing that he can pounce on.

So, lets see him pounce, lets see GGG declare his intentions to challenge for the SMW Title and for a Fight with Bud. But what are we even talking about. Is this something that we really think could happen? I mean, no one thought Canelo Crawford would happen, then it did. But GGG? I thought this dude was long done with boxing. He looked disinterested against Canelo 3 years ago. But Maybe Bud has awakened something in GGG, maybe now he's found the urge to get back in the gym. It is curious that GGG has never officially announced his retirement if I'm not mistaken. I'm really not at all sure what's been going on with GGG since the 3rd Canelo fight. It seemed to be complete radio silence from GGG, until now, until he saw Bud do what he did to Canelo, and well, lets think about this.

Bud did what he did to the same same guy who GGG fought 3 times and failed to beat even once, and Bud made it look easy. So I could certainly see why GGG and his fans would be struggling like this. Bud did in one fight what GGG couldn't in 3. That's gotta be tough for GGG fans to deal with. And again I'm being 100% real with you on this. How are GGG fans to deal with this? For a guy to come up from WW and beat Canelo for Undisputed at 168, a weight that GGG himself was never even Champion in despite him competing at higher weight classes than Bud throughout his career, I mean, lets face it, that's a lot for GGG to have to wrap his mind around. And naturally the fighter in him would want to do something about this problem.

In an ideal world it would be poetic justice.

Crawford should fight the winner of a Golovkin vs Alvarez fourth fight. If, and that’s a big if, Golovkin gets through that, he has earned a fight with Crawford.

I agree with G being a master at cutting of the ring.

I thought Crawford was a weight bully? Atleast that's what i was told by the Crawford haters here. If that's the case he always beats any version of him better more complete boxer. If ggg comes out of retirement he will be going right back after Crawford destroys him.

did you just start watching boxing a year ago? When it comes to big money fights, they don’t have to be earned. Crawford would take that fight in a heartbeat. He would get paid more than he’s ever made in his entire career for probably just this one fight while having a great chance of beating the bigger stronger man who’s passed his prime.

GGG needs to stay retired. He’s too old and he’s too slow.

But we know GGG is long past his prime

What makes it an intriguing fight is that GGG is so big and everyone’s gonna want to see how Crawford reacts to his power as soon as he finds him.

Yeah if 43 year old GGG fights Crawford now I would favor Crawford due to GGG's age and inactivity but his punching power and jab could make him a live dog.

Lmfao! Thanks for the laugh he wont be ranked as greater than Crawford on any atg list.

If Crawford and ggg were the same size the fight wouldnt even be worth talking about Crawford is a stylistic nightmare for ggg.

I saw Robinson fight on Gillette Friday Night Fights so no, I didn’t just start watching fights. If you think the average person knows who the hell Golovkin or Crawford is, you are delusional, which kind of explains your handle. The biggest money fight is a rematch with Alvarez. I doubt Netflix would even be interested in a Golovkin fight.

It really is a win-win fight for both guys, triple G gets a chance to scalp four belts off a much smaller fighter and Crawford will make probably a $100 million payday, if Crawford wins, he gets credit for beating a much bigger and stronger fighter, if he loses, he lost to the bigger stronger fighter and it’s not gonna really affect his legacy. If triple G wins, he gets the belts and if he loses, he lost to a guy when he was far past his prime.
