I really would have liked to see Spence, Crawford, and Thurman get into the ring with each other when the division was hot for those 2 plus years. The hottest division in boxing. And nothing. The joke sport of boxing these days. I picked Crawford to beat Canelo by decision. I think Canelo is overrated and he got outpointed and lost to GGG twice. Crawford up 2 weight classes against an overrated fighter was an easy call for me. Crawford too much speed, technical and ring IQ for a Canelo caliber fighter. I think the Max Kellerman after the fight overhyping of the win and saying Crawford is a generational fighter, and Mayweather before him was that fighter is just that in " this" generation of boxing. Didnt make the fights that needed to happen for me. Crawford HOF yes . And clearly a much better fighter than the Canelos of the sport
Crawford is the fighter of this era he's been the best for the last 8-10 years. They will always try to push people ahead of him. Crawford had to be twice as good to get half the credit. He reminds me of Bernard Hopkins in a couple respects. His discipline the way he takes care of himself. He stays in the gym, he lives this. Also his mental toughness. It would be easy to get discouraged when their pushing inferior fighters over you. Bob Arum really cant promote he just collects $.His former promoter. Arum wasted some time because he only cared about Latino boxers or Manny who have a built in fan base so they don't need a promoter.
Who's they? People that dont buy into the SNAC grift or the fantasy weight slaying against midget Canelo?
He's been a hall of famer ever since he beat Postol. By that point he was a 2 time lineal champion in 2 different weight classes. Once he beat Jeff Horn at 147 to earn his 3rd division title, he became a first ballot hall of famer. Once he beat Spence to be lineal in 3 weight classes/undisputed in 2, he became an ATG. After he beat Canelo to become a 5 division, 4 of them lineal, 3 time undisputed champion, he became a top 25 ATG.
In reference to LaMotta, I would like to show you an exhaustive, very well-researched list I've compiled of wrong things that Jake didn't do:
Great to see Crawford getting his dues. He's an ATG who is still performing at such a high level in his late 30s. A real pleasure to watch fight.
"They" sore losers, race fans, youtube content creators making up false narratives like you just regurgitate. Sound familiar?
Yes, of course, even if he had lost to Canelo, Crawford would have definitely been an IBHOF fighter. Even the IBHOF of the past, when there were strict entry criteria and a fighter like Pazienza would never have been inducted.
