Eubank Jr was in rare form last night — had the other side properly rattled. You’d think Hearn was the one fighting, not Conor. Great entertainment all the same, but hopefully Chris ends this circus once and for all in November.

In the end, Fast Car still couldn’t resist his ego fix, taking shots at Shalom — who, to be fair, actually holds his own these days.

I am absolutely not a fan of Benn, either, by the way, just to clarify. Hearn, Benn and Eubank are all privately educated; there's not really much that separates them on that front. They're all dislikeable for different reasons, with Eubank being the slightly more likeable of the trio.

How does Matchroom have a "ridiculously weak" stable? They've got 3 of the top 10 P4P fighters in the world. It seems like you've got an axe to grind with Eddie, and I get it, especially the roid thing with Benn. The way that played out was disgraceful, but nobody involved in this scenario is a good guy, really; they're just grifters on slightly different levels. Eubank just appears to be the good one because the other 2 are such swindlers.

I didn't say anyone was rooting for Benn, I said Eubank came across worse because he talked over Eddie as Eddie went to say a few words about Hatton, the pair of them are spoilt and rich, and I dread to think what the build-up is going to be like in this entirely pointless rematch.

Agree that Eubank lost the room when he did not allow Hearn to say some words about Ricky. But otherwise, it was another press conference where miraculously for only the 2nd time in his career; Eubank is more likeable than his opponent. That is some achievement for Hearn and Benn.

Hearn has literally no one at HW, other than a past it AJ. That is a seriously weak stable. The HW division is the flagship division in the sport.

Eubank getting a pass but Anthony Fowler gets a whole thread about his classless behaviour about Hatton. Must be that surname again.

Don’t like drug cheats, don’t like Conor mandem, fam, bruv, heated Rangey seats Benn in general but hoping there can be a double ko.

Shalom was very subdued and sheepish all day yesterday imo, how the mighty have fallen, Conor even put him in his place during the presser when BS chimed in with 'not with this rehydration clause'.

Eubank is mad for fighting at that weight with the rehydration clause

Own fault, zero sympathy. No one is holding guns to his head to take the fight or them terms.

Thing is though, he’d have to do something he’s always avoided like the plague if not…… have a proper, maybe fair fight, not for millions. Jordan is right. Charlatan.

How is it Hearn’s problem if Eubank wants to accept rehydration clauses? Eubank’s own fault for chasing the money agaisnt a littl midget when he spent half his career at 12 stone and was struggling to make middleweight in his early twenties.

Nobody is stopping Eubank have a proper fight against someone his own weight are they?

Hearn is doing what anyone would if there’s a dick head willing to risk his life for a few extra quid when he’s already ridiculously rich. Hearn Isn’t going to say… Let’s have this fight to make everyone millions but make it a complete gimme for the considerably bigger man.

I didn’t even watch the first fight by the way and I don’t care about it. Everyone up in arms about these things are the ones watching it. Can’t have it both ways or it’s hypocrisy.

Jordan speaking sense on this matter again. Saying Eubank has no business at the weight. Own fault if he takes it. Just said the public are wallys for buying into this. He’s right, I thought you knowledgable people were better than this though haha. Glad the odd normal person still exists. Spencer Oliver trying to justify the fight because the first one was a good fight. Can get a good fight with two obese 10 year olds in the play ground. Doesn’t mean it should be glorified and sold to the naive as a proper fight and something you should pay for to watch in your living room.

Rematch absolutely pointless here as they can't recreate the spectacle of the first. Eubank daft for fighting with the rehydration clause and will only have himself to blame if it costs him which is more than possible.

Understood Eubank taking the first fight but I'd have liked to him actually take a proper fight after proving his point.

It was clearly Hearn's intention to bait Eubank into interrupting him talking about Hatton which is a scummy thing to do but Eubank came out of it really poorly too in my view.

After the presser they were interviewed together, and Eddie tried to claw something back by overriding Shalom — but credit to him, he didn’t submit. People are calling him subdued and sheepish, but I saw it differently. Shalom’s never been the loudest in the room, and he doesn’t need to be. He kept his composure while Fast Car was chasing his ego fix and Conor was flapping about clauses. Quiet doesn’t mean weak — sometimes it’s just letting the circus play itself out.

He avoids proper fights like the plague and always has. Gets away with murder, the abuse some lads get on here and he gets a pass for everything.

To get the Benn fight, Eubank had to agree to the rehydration clause. No clause, no fight.

    Hi Buddy.
Not for the first time I find myself agreeing with your opinions on the various players in the charade that is Eubank / Benn 2 , lots of talk about how close the fight was, it wasn't ! last time I looked the judges had it 8-4, but that won't deter all and sundry spouting untruths, in a few weeks or so, cue the commencement of the circus, roll up, roll up, get your tickets early, you don't want to miss out.
    stay safe, chat soon.
    Mike.
