I said when the fight was first made that the outcome depended purely on just how washed up Canelo is. No need to fix the the fight, he was beaten fair and square. I think a lot of canelo fans hoped that the size of this occasion would bring something out of him (me included) and I do think he trained hard and tried his best, but his body just wasn’t up to it. 36 rounds against GGG and 12 rounds against Bivol plus a lot of other tough fights against bigger opponents will do that to you. I think he did well all things considered. They’re talking about a Sheeraz fight next and sadly I think Sheeraz will beat him. I’d pick Scull to beat him in a rematch tbh.

Canelo just needs his roids back

If he thought 8 left hooks to the body would make Crawford wilt like Khan he was very wrong. Probably didn't expect Crawford to hold the weight so well.

Bro, did you not see somewhere in round 11 where he just walks around frustrated and Crawford just lets him because he probably felt a bit bad

Great thread. I nominate the OP for a Pulitzer Prize and/or Nobel Prize for literature by an autistic author.

So how much money would it take to pay Canelo to take a dive? He is worth hundreds of million. Makes 50 million plus when he fights. So who has hundred of millions to give Canelo? Cause that is what it would take. You also won’t get that back with any future Crawford fight. Rematch is of little interest. It isn’t going to pull the same number cause the novelty of Crawford moving up and Canelo dominating 168 is gone.

This is why the fix fight talk is so stupid.

It clearly wasn't for money, nor love, squire. The REAL Canelo wouldn't do any such a thing...

The REAL Canelo never made it out of his top secret training camp, in Stepford, Connecticut. 'Stepford' being key, here. He was originally lulled there under false pretences, of new and exciting groundbreaking dynamics in boxing training and diet. Sadly he fell for it.

Also sadly, he now no longer actually exists, the Canelo we recently watched was merely an almost perfect android replica clone....a clone that was released TOO early, a prototype that was not quite the finished product....(expect the MK2 to be considerably improved.)

Boxing has now taken an even worse turn as regards to corruption and blatant cheating. It's on a whole new level now. These clones will pass all peds test too.....

    Yes. That wasn't Clenelo

    It was Clonelo

A ginger robot duplicate of the real Clenelo

Android replica clones are the future of boxing

The thought of ginger robots terrifies me though, squire

Me too, Squire. And the ginger robots can actually change hair colour at any time. Even in-between rnds. This can be very confusing for their opponents...

But I've got great faith in our Brit fighters being more difficult to convincingly clone. Even with the very best AI available, the programming, even though it's excellent, will always struggle to replicate the fantastic but non tangible thing that is British warrior-ism and slickness. Add in Brit heart and they've got their work cut out

I'll guess that's at least a decade or more away for now.

I predicted crawford would beat canelo so easy that people would say it was fixed.
