Fury has incredible ability and versatility for a big man. Bivol and Opetaia are arguably pfp better but Fury arguably has more tools which makes it all the more impressive that Usyk beat him. Usyk is probably the most skilled heavyweight to ever live

Bivol is much more skilled than Fury.

Fury had a lot of natural ability, natural speed and natural size, but his fundamentals are not even close to Bivol's skills.

Not anywhere close to Bivol. But more skilled than Opetaia.

Fury will be remembered and talked about on boxing forums for the next 50-100 years.

Opetai and Bivol won't. Shame Opetai hasn't really got competition at CW and I know he'll get chinned at HW.

Fury is one of the most overrated fighters of the last 25 years. He beat a 40 year old Klitschko and Wilder. Wilder who 90% of this form says is a bum. Almost got knocked out by an MMA fighter. He's nowhere near a great fighter.

Bivol is overrated too. He's a one dimensional "your turn, my turn" fighter. who will lose the moment he faces a fighter that knows how to counter a jab.

That being said. Fury is objectively a more dynamic fighter.

Hit and don't get hit is the sweet science, Bivols made it work at the elite level. But I do agree Fury has more skill

I suppose we will have to define "skill" to be able to make this call, as Fury does things no one else can, but there has been and will be more fighters like Opetaia and Bivol.

I suppose when it comes down to skill as the application of techniques, theory and actions that one has practiced for boxing that Bivol and Opetaia have more skill.

But if we sized Fury down to their size, I have no doubt the Fury could do the same if not better, where as I am not sure that they could match Fury if they were sized up.

Kind of muddled, but I think I made a point somewhere in there.

Don't think it matters. Neither would beat Fury

Opetaia would beat Fury right now if they made that fight. Fury is 37 and struggled with Steve Cunningham

Fury is 100 pounds heavier than Bivol, come now. Opie is making noise about going up to HW but we don't know how we'll he'd do.

Fury had good footwork and feinting skills. Not much power due to his arm punching. Bivol is the complete package IMO. Opie has looked good vs C level opponents but so far hasn't looked like a world class boxer to me.

Fury also gave Usyk his hardest fight, and Opetaia has never even fought at heavyweight.

Exactly. Which is why I think the question is rather pointless.

Smaller guys tend to have more mobility and skill, but weights classes exist for a reason.

Opetaia ain't as good as Usyk but hits harder than Usyk and is younger, fresher and more violent. They've sparred, Fury knows whats up

Nah, I think today Usyk hits much harder as he's grown into the weight.

Whether or not we see Opetaia step up is another question

If considering their skillset all at their best, I'd have it Bivol > Fury > Opetaia, but it's close, there aren't huge levels between the 3 of them
