Damn! Beat me to it. :D

Fury might be better to leave his “victory” over AJ on the “predictive” paper his more dedicated fans like to defer to.

I’m not pining for the match but if they actually get it on, of course I’ll watch.

Fury’s smack talk leading in and AJ’s indignant reactions would be fun in their own right.

I like both guys. Shame it never happened when it would have been relevant to the HW scene and they were both at their peaks.

I suppose I would expect Fury to win and it would be a nice way for him to round off his career. Then he and Miniq could ride off into the sunset together, like Kenny Powers and Stevie Janowski

Fully agreed this is more than well, well passed it's sell by date.

But as long as both fully revert to type in the build ups, etc, And there's no ' holding back' faux respect, the hype train would still be off the scale, and a stadium would still be fully filled I think. Add in a decent undercard and I can still imagine this event being one of the best RBR's here. along with the multiple build up threads prior, and the post fight fall out threads after.

He doesnt necessarily stop him at all, or even win. Yeah he should be the favourite but it isnt a risk free fight. He is less eager to take the fight than AJ because he knows that he can ride off into the sunset now and be considered better than AJ and the best UK HW of his era, actually fighting AJ risks ****ing that up.

Fully agree Arch. Even if there are those who have no genuine interest atm, I think a good number of those same people would be won over come fight time.

The lack of frequency in decent HW fights otherwise also helps to float a potential promotion such as this.

As to me personally? I’ll never say never to a lot of things. We should get the jump on a side hustle and start manufacturing victory pins for both fighters in anticipation of The Battle Of Britain. :D

It's probably going to happen because it's the best option available to both and would still generate a ton of money. Spring/Summer 2026.

I think it would be an entertaining fight for as long as it lasts. I got Fury by stoppage between rounds 6 and 10.

Yeah, non casual boxing fans are mostly just very disappointed that this fight simply never happened already. More-so over the previous let downs and failed attempts. I am personally.
BUT, they'll definitely get on board, I think, to at least some degree, for either positive or negative reasoning. IF and When a contract is actually made and signed (?). The casuals will probably be all over it right from the off.

Great idea with the victory pins btw!, best to include a dual 'draw' and rematch pin too, just in case. To cut down on wasted production costs we can make them double sided.....;)

Belly has always been terrified of fighting Joshua for some reason.

Even though the fight would make a lot of money even now, it will never happen.

    Maybe.

But if a decision is not needed, it's because AJ has knocked his man out.
