You’re the expert in these matters my friend as you have just upheld, yet again. I will simply follow your lead……just call me McCann, Terry McCann.
If this happened now, then I would slightly favour AJ. I think Fury is finished, the losses to Usyk have devastated him and the bad ilfestyle he has lived out of the ring is catching up with him. In their primes, then I would favour Fury to win a decision over AJ.
Fury has always tried to leave any "victories" over good fighters to being hypothetical ones championed by his delusional fan base.
I don't think he would take the risks early but I think he would land clean enough and hurt AJ at some point and the stoppage would come.
I would go with fury, too. BUT: It's always been the case that most of us go with fury in almost any matchup and he enjoyed resting on these eye-test-laurels. The way he avoided fights and looked bad against wallin, ngannou and how wilder fell apart when facing better opposition indicates otherwise. In the period where he fought chisora and whyte, he made such an insincere offer to joshua with a short deadline when joshua had just lost and really tried to make the fury matchup, that you must assume he didn't want this fight, even though it would have been financially lucrative as hell. Turki also wanted it... So I am very reluctant to just move ahead and assume fury would win it. Even though the dubois performance and furys usyk performances should indicate fury winning. Somehow fury seems to have a lot of respect of joshua or fear the loss as the heaviest possible blow to his legacy. Anyway, fury is not as confident of his own win against joshua as most of us here...
