I am hearing Fenech will be the head trainer for the first comeback fight in Australia.

I don't think that Nikita has the same aspirations as Tim. I think he is content having domestic fights in Australia. He is making good money doing that and I don't think he has what it takes to get to world championship level.

Well he is only 30 and he is still a big draw in Australia. He could spend all of 2026 having rebuilding fights at home whilst making good money. I think that would be his best bet.

As a reference for our American friends.
Think of how big Danny Santiago is in the States, thats about how big a draw Tim is in Australia.

I know that Igor Golubev has copped a lot of criticism in regards to Tim Tszyu but I got a lot of respect for him I have actually trained with him myself he is a good bloke. The fact that he was the original trainer for two guys who went on to win world titles in Tsyzu and Kambosos is pretty incredible considering it was just a small gym of amateur's in Rockdale Sydney at the PCYC.

I like Tim but agree that it may be too late, particularly in terms of repair in the psychological realm. At any rate, best of all luck to him.

Agreed I reckon that Tim could pick up a belt at middleweight the division is not really stacked.
