They were both A-side fighters who looked to take more dangerous fights "at the right time" or avoid them. Joshua was unable to make use of catchweights and rehydration clauses.

Neither are hype jobs. Both are or were valid belt holders.

I'm interested to see if Joshua can come back for a late career surge.

The Fury non fight I think is and has been a Fury duck. Who I think had rode a hype train more than Joshua has.

Joshua would have fought Fury if he could stop losing. Ruiz, Usyk 1, Usyk 2. Maybe even Dubois.

It doesn't benefit Fury anymore. And Joshua/Hearn were very concerned with "timing". Joshua said after Fury dethroned Wlad "Fury's a hard fight right now, I need more experience." He said the same about Wilder later. They only have themselves to blame.

I think the reason why Canelo won this poll by a mile is Joshua was KO'd by a Mexican who was far inferior P4P (100 extra pounds, all of it fat) to Canelo.

This post encapsulates Alvarez’s career. Paulie and Bradley, are about the only ones in the media, who don’t worry about access, to the Reynoso creation!
Another “c" word should replace his nickname, i.e - “chicanery!”

    Neither are hype jobs.

AJ became the highest ranked HW in the world.

Canelo became the highest ranked LMW, MW and SMW in the world.

Doubt it but if he does it would be a heck of achievement.

Canelo is the bigger hype job. AJ was never rated p4p 1 or received any hype as an ATG.
