People seem to actually be falling for the whole "last boxing match" nonsense. It will be his last boxing match until his next one. It's just another way to fleece the public. He may be out for a short while longer after the so-called last match, but he'll be back to fleece the public again who seem happy to watch the "warrior", "cult hero", and convicted woman beater.

I'm not as sold on itauma as most on here.
Sure he looks to be a great prospect and has looked very impressive so far.

However, this is heavyweight boxing and we've not seen how he's going to cope when he's against someone tough and durable.

I don't even find him that likeable as a person

I was certain that big David Price was gonna rule the heavyweight division for years and we saw how that ended up.

No offence, Punchdrunk1, you probably do know your stuff, but this post would suggest otherwise!

You were sold on David Price, despite how obvious it was that he was nowhere near "the next big thing", and you are not sold on Itauma, who is clearly going to be just that.

I agree with you about his personality. I don't really like him at all, and he has a tendency to say "like" in every sentence.

I am the same as punchdrunk1. Not entirely sold yet. It's the other heavyweights that have spared him and have seen how good he is that makes me think he could be legit. I still want to see him get a few more solid wins under the lights before I am entirely convinced.

I admit Ituama seems to be much more skilful than Price, who was just heavy-handed and blasting out easy prey.

But since Price I'm always wary when we are getting sold the next big heavyweight. Look at Bakole!

Bakole wasn't touted to be up to much until he was in his thirties and even then he was never cast as the future of heavyweight boxing. He was a big fat bloke with an alleged fake age who may have a big win or two.

Anybody got any info on who we reckon Itauma and Chisora are both fighting then?

For Itauma I’ve heard rumours of both Jermaine Franklin and Joe Joyce.
For Chisora I’ve heard Jarrell Miller and Frank Sanchez.
Just rumours on Twitter, nothing more.

Franklin has turned the fight with Itauma down by all accounts. Would like to see Chisora vs Miller.

I thought Chisora and Whyte might have one last dance.

I like that fight and I hope the Big Baby fights Whyte and Joshua as well.

Would finish all three of them for good.

Both have been dancing all the way to the bank courtesy of Eggie Hearn seductions.

May as well squeeze more loot out of the mugs willing to fork out Box Office for what is an evenly matched fight between 2 journeymen.

Can see Chisora taking this fight by stoppage.

I will definitely be sticking a few quid on Chisora by stoppage if he fights Whyte again.
    Whyte is woeful these days

Not really arsed as it'll be pay per view and I refuse to pay for anymore of them.
Ituama vs Miller would be nice though .

Yes a good learning fight with a man that will take the fight to him.

The type of fight one needs on the way up.

Few Rumours circulating that David Adeleye is a frontrunner for the Itauma fight
