I thought the Lopes - Jean Silva fight was one of the fights on the year. Silva took a beating on the ground in the first but came out in the 2nd with vicious offense of his own. Great fight from both fighters. Even though he lost I still think Jean Silva would be a handful for the top guys at 145.

I don’t feel comfortable ever predicting a Jiri fight

I would say Khalil jiri winner fights ankalaev vs Alex winner, but surer we don’t need an Alex vs jiri 3 or Alex vs Khalil 2.

Maybe that’s the route for his shot at the title
