Tszyu prior to Bakram showed he had what it takes to beat Fundora(and almost certainly would have had it not been for the elbow) compare and contrast with the rematch. Unfortunately it looks like the loss to Bakram took a lot out of Tszyu. Would love to see him get the swagger back that he had leading into the first Fundora fight but it's not looking good. I'll be along for the ride regardless. WAR Tszyu.

Kid's got heart no doubt, but is obviously too stubborn for his own good and now might be fundamentally broken. Long odds, but good luck.

Zerafa is probably the perfect fight to make for him next but looks like Nikita will get him. I'd like to see him fight Bohachuk or Adams but realistically probably somebody a bit less dangerous.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if a new trainer is going to help Tim out and I'm not sure what kind of improvement Fenech can do to make him better. Tim would have to really make some adjustments to his style.

Tim will be using Fenech in an advisory role. He's going to look for a US based coach, and is going to tour gyms looking for that new coach.

It is clear from that interview that Fenech is NOT Tim's new trainer.

Tim making it quite clear that his new team members are all in advisory roles and that he is headed to the US to have a look around. It doesn't sound like he will move to the US though, as there are too many things in Australia he doesn't want to leave behind.

Yep you are right. From what I had heard I thought Jeff was going to be the head trainer but Tim wants a US trainer. Hopefully he can find one that suits him.

Jeff is a capable trainer for sure. Unsure if this will change things positively for the tough TT. His defense, timing and jab is what needs to be honed to see him have greater future success.

If middleweight is a weight he decides to compete at, a match with Shane Mosley Jr, would present as a good option.

Tim says he has narrowed a list of 20 US trainers down to 5 and will visit each of them when he travels to the States shortly.

Fenech's role will be as a mentor only. Not as head trainer.

Tszyu is leaving on Mon to team up with trainers Kevin Cunningham , Ismael Salas , Pedro Diaz, Rudy Hernandez and Abel Sanchez. Tszyu will spend the next 8 weeks sharpening his skill set for a planned early comeback in 26.
