Ruiz couldn't even put a dent in the likes of Liakhovich who was absolutely shot to pieces and a walking zombie.

there certainly is some disrespect of Wilder going on. He’s really tough, tons of heart and grit, willing to go out on his shield. He was being schooled and beat to a pulp by Fury in their second fight, yet flipped out when his corner stopped it. And he takes this **** seriously, stays in shape year round.

People can say what they want about how good he really was or wasn’t, but shouldn’t disrespect him as a warrior.

Ruiz throws more deadly combinations, but Wilder has better one punch power, that's for sure...

Fair comment. I always used to shart on Wilder, especially after getting a shot at Stiverne after beating......Jason Gaverne ffs. I just wanted him to step up while at his best which unfortunately, he never did. I could never give him credit for title defences against the likes of Molina, Duhaupas, Szpilka, Washington when there was far stiffer opposition out there and he lucked out BIG time against the massively overrated Ortizn't. Having said all that, the metal he showed against Fury in the 2nd and 3rd fights is to be applauded but, those fights also took away what little was left.

I mean, if a fighter lands repeated flush, full blown power shots, and it has little effect othet than pain, and the other person lands their shots and repeatedly wobbles, knocks down, stops, or knocks the fighter out cold, theyre usually going to be the harder puncher.

You'd think so, but these two fighters have both said that Ruiz is the hardest puncher they have faced and they are/were relatively high level operators in the sport.

The average 8 year old girl probably hits harder than Wilder.

For what its worth Wilder had a broken hand for this fight and got the stoppage he didn't put Arreola to sleep.

He did not get the normal Wilder experience and even if he did KO victims don't experience the punches that put them to sleep.

Before this he also said Vitali hits harder than Wilder.
Vitali hit Arreola in the head for 11 rounds and got a mercy stoppage and then Arreola cried, literally cried in the ring.

He also said in an interview with seckbach that he was glad his baby was brown. That provides a background to the agenda he may have in promoting Ruiz over Vitali and Wilder in terms of punching ability.

Lastly we can compare Ruiz's KO reel to Wilder's. What we see there is a stark contrast between a HW with below average power and one with dangerous power.

I'm sure Hearn and AJ and their fans and Parker and his fans want to believe Ruiz is a KO artist but he simply isn't.

These 'he hit me the hardest' things are about as believable as sparring stories.

Corley had Mayweather doing the chicken dance. Didn't he have Cotto doing the chicken dance too? Maybe there is some truth to it
