Yes , these are just "better than nothing" fights but parker and kabayel are absolutely not to blame . Both would immediately fight usyk .

his team is hoping Wardley wins. He’ll fight Parker if he has to — would look absolutely horrible if Parker wins and Usyk still won’t fight him — but he’s hoping it’s Wardley, who would be a real easy night for him.

much as I love Usyk, I have to agree here. He will never fight Kabayel. Which is disappointing, I think Kabayel is by far the biggest danger to him. Parker? As much as Parker deserves the shot, that’s going to be a fairly boring match in which Usyk wins a comfortable UD.

Is there anyway that Parker looks so good against Wardley that people think he has more of chance against Usyk?

Or will it just be that Wardley was never any good to begin with?

I don't think he cares about easy...he wants the Brit who's going to bring the dollars.

Why deny it at this point?

Doubt he really cares but that's not a bad logic really when you think about it

    Easy night for big money
Wardley probably brings more money to the table tbh

    According to this article :

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/36851290/oleksandr-usyk-jake-paul-world-title/

usyk is seriously negotiating with jake paul about the cage fight while there is complete silence about a wbo defence with parker . No confirmation , no date , nothing.

We remember : usyk is so injured and so hungry to rest with his family that he is too tired to even negotiate with parker and confirm the fight . Wbo agrees .

But simultany he is not too tired to negotiate with jake paul and call him out ? yes...

    And he will be next.

Until Usyk decides to call it a day, he will keep facing the rightful contenders.

Usyk is a TROLL. He's not fighting Jake Paul in MMA.
Because, on top of being bigger and ligh years ahead in boxing, he has a wrestling, combat sambo... well, as far as I know, a comprehensive MMA foundation.

He could hurt Jake Paul badly. He will not.

By beating a walking zombie old Zhang and a walk around with a shot to bits Wilder who couldn't throw a punch? He couldn't even score a knockdown against either and both were subsequently KO'd in a fashion.

Yes, yes, we all know Parker has the magical ability to turn fighters who are going to beat him easily into "washed", "old", "never that good to begin with" after he fights them.

At this point I reckon he could do the same to Usyk even thought no one is giving him a chance of beating Usyk at the moment. If Parker somehow pulls it off just see how his magical ability turns Usyk into "old and washed" overnight

If Parker wins on October 25, within a week or so negotiations with Usyk will begin.

I expect the fight date to be finalized by mid-November and will likely take place in late in February 2026.

I hope the fight is in New Zealand for the sake of NZ boxing fans, but it will likely be in Saudi Arabia or London.

If it's in London and if Turki is involved, there will likely be a decent co-feature.

I honestly think that Parker is really all that is left, and afterwards Usyk can just leave. It's gonna suck that the divison is running dry, but I always felt that around after Fury fought Wilder, that the Fury/AJ/Wilder Generation would be over.

If Usyk really wants to continue, he can just take the easy fights against Wilder and Zhang but he is scraping the bottom of tha barrel of the highest level of the sport
