Tyson Fury gave us some great nights

Yeah, but the fight wasn't that exciting.

 

And at this stage, is there even a demand to see Fury in a UK stadium fight aside from the Joshua fight? Ironically, that’s now become as much of a novelty fight as Eubank Jnr v Conor, rather than the legacy-defining clash it could have been a few years ago.

Personally, I don’t see it. Usyk 3 is just another cash-out, and aside from that and Joshua, does it even warrant a stadium? Fury’s not going to take a 50% pay cut to fight a ball-breaker like Itauma or even Dubois.

And the longer he’s out, the more chance Joshua has of just catching him. The Usyk fights already showed his legs can no longer carry him 12 rounds at the elite level.

But he’s another who won’t be able to resist one more fight.

 

AJ hasn’t fought for over a year and last time we saw him he was pulverised by Dubois. I’d always pick Fury over AJ.

 

Fury’s act started to wear very thin over the last couple of years. He could have walked away at the very top but most people just think he’s a nob nowadays.

 

Time for Hearn to reinvent the wheel and reel out Prizefighter again for the past gen British Heavyweight Division.

There is a full field to choose from and a decent night of boxing for the brave willing to put it on the line.

Could've and should've been so much more. What a shame.

 

Yes a fully dedicated Tyson Fury living the life of a professional boxer, similar to Usyk, could have been our greatest ever World Heavyweight Champion.

Great career dethroning 2 long reigning World Champions away from home plus the great trilogy with Wilder but we never seen him achieve his full potential.

We will never know how good he could have been.

 

Lol all the Matchroom fans were talking up Whyte's chances, saying he's finally got his big opportunity, he played a blinder in the press conference by not turning up and all their usual wafflle, until the fight actually started.....

And then somehow it was the WBC's fault for making him wait too long and not giving him the money he deserved.

 

And some crappy ones.

 

The Dubois fight is there for Fury whenever he wants it, but I think we all know he’d go nowhere near that one.

 

Enzo Calzaghe ran a clean old school gym mate.

He certainly would not tolerate any cheating from his son or any fighter using that gym.

 

I went right off him after the Usyk fights. I actually think he did well in the fights but his attitude afterwards was terrible, then he has a tantrum and retires for the 5th time. It looked like he was headed for greatness a couple of times, but ultimately he never really got there. Lot of game playing towards the end, losing really seemed to do something to him mentally. Maybe he’d had enough and didn’t actually want to fight by then who knows...

 

When???

a stinker against the very end of the road Klitscho, a fight he didn't earn his way into but was steered & protected into by the money men backers.
