Mosley is criminally overrated. Bud would probably pick him apart

On the night of Delahoya/Mosley 1, I think Crawford would have struggled against either of them at Welterweight.

Mostly was very fast and good at WW...he'd certainly be competitive.

Imagine Shawn Porter hitting much harder and being even more difficult to hurt for a second, then add more skill.

Mosley would definitely win at lightweight. Bud wasn't at his best there, he was still maturing. 140 and up. I think Bud would TKO him. He's too easy to hit for a guy like Crawford.

Especially at Welterweight. The physicality of Crawford at that weight would be venom for Shane. The reach to pepper him from the outside/midrange and the strength to bully him on the inside.

Shane has a good punchers chance though.

Mosley fights nothing like Shawn Porter. And isn't more skilled. They just have different skill sets.

Here's something not many know/remember: they were both actually even more dangerous at lightweight.

Mosley actually had a mix of things that have troubled Crawford from different opponents, willingness to throw with opponents and athleticism of Porter, and the herky jerky counter punching of Madrimov… and much faster and harder hitting than either.

With that said, Bud is a smarter fighter… but a prime Mosley is hell for anyone.

135 Mosley might stop Crawford. Outside of that, I got Crawford by decision. Prime Mosley isn't getting stopped by anyone.

Mosleys CV is so much more difficult than Bud’s its hard to compare them.

Prime Floyd, Pac, Oscar, Margarito, Cotto, Winky Wright,… I’m probably missing someone here too…

Yeah he lost several of those, but my point stands - who does Bud have to even gauge his level compared to these? Errol Spence looked absolutely awful and seems to have retired after their fight, and Canelo is probably only realistically better than a couple of these men at best….

I think Crawford could outbox Mosley who could be neutralized by a good boxer.

But Crawford has never fought anyone remotely close to Mosley's handspeed and power so this is a bit of a unknown quantity for Crawford.

At 135 I might favour Mosley.

The rest of the weights I might favour Crawford.

But as I said there's no opponent Crawford has fought that has anywhere close to a peak Mosley's handspeed and power so this is guess work.

So basically you're downplaying al the Buds fights with speculative conjecture and boosting up Mosley's with name value absent of context. lol

What's the context that downplays literally any of the opponents of Mosley's I mentioned?

What did I speculate about Spence? I said he looked awful and has basically retired since - is that speculation?

Please, tell me who on Bud's resume is better than ODLH, Mayweather, and Pac, since you seem to disagree? Once you inevitably fail to do that, I suppose we can discuss Winky, Cotto, and Margarito to Bud's best opponents....

Edit: Oh, my bad, new member, 23 posts, almost all about Crawford... You're just here to ride his jock... Got it.. I'm sure he's glad you're doing it!
