The guy is a circus exhibit. He’s the boxing equivalent of golf’s long driving winner. One trick, that’s it.

I’ve never seen the appeal to be honest.

 

He doesn't smoke or drink. On the contrary, he even gave up his tea drinking habit. The poster obviously doesn't know the basic facts and makes random comments. It is obviously the end of his career now, but he has always maintained a high degree of self-discipline in his career.

 

That one trick he has is devastating though. He has absolute savage power. The first knockdown against Parker looked like a glancing shot and Parker who has a very good Chin was clearly shaken by it.

 

What? He himself said he smokes and drinks but gave it up to focus on his career around the Hrgovic fight.

Also the kind of fighter that apparently drinks one bottle of water a week in the build up to a fight is not the kind of fighter who looks after themselves. We can just see it in his training videos and fight weights, he hates cardio and shows up at ~290lbs.

And to be clear I love Zhang as a fighter, I just wish he took his conditioning more seriously.
