Missed the main event live but just caught the replay highlights — cracking fight, fair result, and a solid domestic card overall. Although I now think the McGregor win kind of flattered Collins, with the benefit of hindsight.

Crazy to think how Warren and Queensberry are back ruling the UK. A few years ago, Frank was on the ropes, but Fury’s comeback sparked his resurrection. Since then, Queensberry’s been unstoppable, while Fast Car and Matchroom have stalled in the UK scene.

Hearn regaining dominance? Can’t see it. Heavyweights run the show, and Frank (senior and junior) have Moses locked up for the future, whilst Hearn’s stuck with Bosh. The balance of power in British boxing has well and truly shifted.

Cannot understand any good reason, apart from money, why Eddie Hearn gave up on UK boxing from around his final 2 years on Sky.

He was already a huge multi-millionaire and surely he lives for more than simply making even more money.

He is turning into the Russell Martin of boxing.

Yeah, that Netflix moment summed him up perfectly. He basically admitted he’d take Turki’s money whether he liked him or not — and that’s exactly where he’s at now. It’s all about the deal, not the sport.

He’s already admitted he’s trying to build Matchroom up enough to eventually sell, and that tells you everything about where his priorities are. It’s not about growing British boxing anymore, it’s about inflating the brand and cashing out at the peak.

The irony is, while he’s flying around the world chasing new markets and billionaire backers, Queensberry have just kept things simple — focus on the fights and fighters — and now they’ve taken over his own backyard.

Warren’s seen it all before — the Cartel, King, Arum, Barry — Fast Car and Turki are just the latest incarnation. That’s not to say Brick Top wouldn’t do the same if the positions were reversed, but he’s far more savvy, whereas Hearn’s become an ego-inflated promoter in the Don King mould,

Probably why Barry still keeps a firm grip on the keys to the empire he built.
