I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with @CST80 I'm giving him examples of why there is an argument for Crawford.

And there is no right or wrong answer objectively there is a case for both men depending on your criteria as I've already.

And what you're saying about Canelo you can say the same for someone like Fury. Who arguably lost to an MMA fighter prior to the Usyk fight and hasn't had a win over a top 10 Heavyweight since 2022.

Anyone can have an agenda to discredit someone's resume.

That facts are Usyk has beaten better opposition overall and his P4P achievements in regards to beating bigger men are a bit more impressive.

But Crawford has considerably more title wins, has beaten 2 top 10 P4P fighters, and has the fantastic achievement of being undisputed in 4 weightclasses.

I don't think there is a clear P4P number 1 to quite honest and I think you can make a case for both men.

I think there’s recency bias. For example if Crawford beat Canelo last year and Usyk just beat Fury, everyone would be saying Usyk.

    And you’re an idiot.

“Absolute Peak form” Joshua had gone 1-1 with the obese HW version of Munguia in his last 2 fights before his last one leading up to the Usyk fight. Hell, post car crash Spence’s win in a unification over Ugas was probably more impressive than anything Joshua has done since going 1-1 vs the obese Munguia, but that doesn’t matter. The point is you can dissect any great’s career, especially when you look at it from the perspective of a troll.

I can’t be arsed to check but I’m %99 sure you picked Crawford to lose to both Spence and Canelo and decided that they were **** after seeing what Bud did to them.

Anyway, there’s no right or wrong answer between Usyk and Crawford, you can’t mention one without the other when you discuss the best of this era and there’s very little to seperate them aside from personal taste. They’re at the end of their careers so they should be celebrated while they can be instead of all this hysteria about which one should be ranked above the other.

That is, especially when you consider all the clowns running around, conning the public, calling themselves the face of boxing with no merit like the ***** ass fraud on your avatar.

Their performance vs smaller men are bad enough that we have to consider the serious possibility that the cruiserweights of Usyks era are better than the guys he fought at heavyweight. Not lb 4 lb better but flat out better H2H. If Breidis fought the guys Fury fought he likely does better against many opponents and likely doesn't get dropped by Pajkic or Cunningham or nearly stopped by Wallin.

If a top cruiserweight got dropped by Lerena or an old Cunningham let alone got kayoed by Ruiz I would view that as an embarrassment. Those are embarrassing even by cruiserweight standards let alone for giants like Fury and Joshua. Look at all the cruiserweights Lerena and Cunningham failed to drop like Hernandez, Jones, Braithwaite, Adamek, Kucher, Kalenga. Some of these guys weren't considered durable even at cruiserweight.

Usyk seems like a potential exception where the guys his size were more dangerous than the guys in the weight class above him.

Convenient how you brought up his last 2 fights. We all know Joshua doesn’t have the best chin but is almost impossible to beat if you can’t knock him out. This is equivalent of someone like Rigo moving up to 140 to fight a prime Amir Khan and schooling him.

Spence turned his back against both Ugas and Danny. His head wasn’t there. He also looked drugged or drained during his walkout.

Also isn’t Ugas the guy who lost to barrios, the guy who got brutally beaten up by the much smaller man on my avatar?

Usyks cruiser resume > Crawfords resume at WW and below. Not to mention Crawford arguably lost against Madrimov, are we going to ignore that too

Yeah it’s funny how when wilder was on his LEGENDARY WBC run of taking out killers like Duhaupas and Washington and after Joshua beat 41 year old two year layoff Wlad… the HW division was all the sudden “Alive and popping again!!”

But after Fury highlight reeled deontey face first and Usyk schooled Joshua… it was once again “A weak era” that PALED IN COMPARISON to the 90’s or “goLDen aGE 70’s”

Funny how that works. Their little proxy wars are funny but pathetic at the same time.

Then the group therapy hypothetical threads like “The Wlad that Joshua beat vs The Louis that Marciano beat. Who wins??” Or whatever the **** they think up are always cringe. But I really don’t think a lot of them are trolling.:lol::lol: I actually think they’re proxy group therapy. Lol

“B.. but nahh it’s a weak era again doe!”

You're delusional. People were calling Fury the goat after he beat up Wilder

The era was called weak especially when Wilder was fighting bums and joshua was feasting on 40 year olds.

Briedis is probably the best guy he beat, but there is nothing wrong with that. Briedis was uber-talented, but could not get good fights early in his career, and only moved down to cruiser because of that. Later, he was plagued by injuries. A perfect example of how great fighters waste away if they are not British or American.

I brought up his last 2 of his last 3 fights in reply to you doing the exact same thing with Berlanga and Munguia for Canelo you idiot. Can you even keep up with your own posts?

I don’t know which Joshua you’re talking about, but the one you’re describing doesn’t exist and never existed. He was getting outboxed by 41 year old semi retired Wlad until he landed his money punch, same thing against 39 year old Povetkin. He isn’t and was never close to being an elite boxer, not as an amateur, not as a pro.

And they’re still decisive, dominant wins, still better than anything Joshua did after going 1-1 vs Ruiz. That speaks more about how Joshua’s latest run was mostly smoke and mirrors.

You just confirmed that you picked Spence to beat Crawford. Show me a post of yours stating all those doubts and asteriks about Spence before the start of their fight, otherwise you’re just a simple minded nuthugger making excuses.

I am a far, far, far, far, far bigger fan of Usyk than you ever were and will ever be. I was even ridiculed here for comparing him to be a combination of Pacquaio and RJJ with less speed in one of my earlier posts here. Probably unlike you, I picked him to beat both Joshua and Fury the first time around. A Gervonta fraud Davis fan ain’t teaching me about his career or his legacy.

I a was also a big fan of the cruiserweight division, from Gomez, Jirov to Adamek, Cunmingham to Briedis, Dorticos. I have a specific list of my favourite cruiserweight fights and have forgot more about the division than you’ll ever learn.

Usyk’s successes at cruiser was the main reason I had him above Crawford until a month ago, but they’re on even terms after Bud’s performance against Canelo.

Some put value in the best names beaten, some put value in being a road warrior(Usyk), some put value in longevity and dominance(Bud at 140-147), some put value in size difference overcome, some put value in the number of divisions conquered.

Knuckleheads like you need to learn that each have their own preferences and as I mentioned in my previous post, there’s no right or wrong answer to a question like this.

And Fury arguably lost to a 0-0-0 record, the fraud on your avatar arguably lost to a guy he dragged up from a lower weight class, bscene had Usyk/Briedis a draw. None of this mean ****.

You’re too emotional, you wrote all that but said nothing.

Crawford is a great fighter but he’s not even close to Usyk. If he fights Benavidez I’ll put him on that level.

He would likely have been ducked at heavyweight anyway. Anyway Itauma could be better and it's possible Usyk will still fight him.

I can't believe this **** is still going on

HWs in p4p doesn't make any sense unless you're talking about HWs exclusively.

Pound for pound is a modifier for a reason. When the modifier is not needed it makes no ****ing sense use it.

Usyk is the greatest in boxing

Bud is the p4p greatest in boxing

The tallest man in boxing is not the inch for inch tallest man in boxing because he's the tallest.

The cheapest man in boxing is not the dollar for dollar cheapest man in boxing because he's the straight up cheapest, no bull**** math needed.

This argument went on way too long and most of you are ****ing tards. Tards, who, mind, often attack others' understanding of the English language. I see who you are and let me tell youse my memory is not so short.

You can think Usyk>Bud, it's super agreeable, calling Usyk p4p king just makes you an idiot ... from a fellow Usyk=GOAT fan brah, from a MFer who calls y'all brah, brah. You so damn dumb you just got sonned by a ****ing clown brah.

Yep there is so much proxy group therapy to cope with Usyk being the greatest fighter in the world.
"But ESPN rates Crawford at number one doe" What a surprise and American sports company rates an American fighter at number one

This is a quote he said prior to the fight.

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/zhāng-zhìlěi-vs-deontay-leshun-wilder-daniel-raphael-dubois-vs-filip-hrgović-round-by-round.721731/page-96#post-22901838

And yet he said here that Crawford beating Canelo would be a much greater feat than Usyk beating Fury because Fury is not on Canelo's level skill wise. He also predicted Canelo would "smash" Crawford.

He also said Crawford's best win would be better than Usyk's best win ?

But because Crawford did actually beat Canelo he has to change his narrative because he's a hater. And can't handle Crawford achieved greatness and is now a serious contender against Usyk in the P4P number 1 argument.

Just back peddling agenda driven biased hate simple as that.
