I look forward to mainly the top fixture HW fights in general. To name - Wardley V Parker, and Itauma and Chisora will fight someone this year apparently.

Bar the HWs, I think Haney V Norman is actually an underrated fight.

IDK but the cards I'm looking forward to most are:

    1. WBC Grand Prix Finals (December)
    2. Bam-Pumita (November)
    3. Ortiz vs. Lubin (November)
    4. WBC Grand Prix Semis (this month)
    5. Inoue/Nakatani doubleheader (December)

Your 2 and 5 for me. Even though Lubin loses, he usually makes his opponents work for the win.

Now, if Inoue and Nakatani were facing each other instead of overmatched (if unbeaten) opponents - that would be card of the year regardless of the undercard. :deal:

Most of the ones mentioned, but I think Jaron Ennis vs. Uisma Lima could potentially be a FOTY candidate, depending on how well Ennis' power carries up.

    Besides the fights already mentioned:

Isaac Cruz vs Lamont Roach Jr
Gary Antuanne Russell vs Andy Hiroaka

I'm also pretty optimistic for Sebastian Fundora vs Keith Thurman being a good fight. Devin Haney vs Brian Norman Jr I'm cautiously optimistic for.

Solid list. Chisora's next fight is #5 for me. He's on a hot streak and is always fun. Close to that is Ortiz vs. Lubin. I'd be jumping out of my chair excited if an Ituama fight is announced and it's someone who might give him a real challenge.

And Bam-Martinez is #1 on my list. Another step closer to undisputed for Bam. Or a shocking upset. Either way, that's going to be a hell of a fight.

edit: and I watched the last BKFC event and kind of got hooked. It's so sloppy but man is it violent as hell and action packed. Constant KD's and KO's, blood flying everywhere. Definitely have the BKFC events on my list now. I need to look up the actual rules, to my eye it seemed they were about the same as boxing except the refs are really, really lenient.

How could I forget the Roach-Cruz/Alimkhanuly-Lara card? :duh

    Alright, redo:

    1. WBC Grand Prix Finals (December)
    2. Cruz-Roach
    3. Bam-Pumita (November)
    4. Ortiz vs. Lubin (November)
    5. WBC Grand Prix Semis (this month)
(again, the New Year's card in Japan is essentially a pair of showcase mismatches to whet our appetites for Inoue vs. Nakatani next year)
