Not very impressed with Jalolov, sad to see such a touted prospect struggle at this stage of his career.

But also I have to feel a bit vindicated in that I always suspected he would struggle against someone who is game.

Jalolov is such a joke I hope he gets stopped here. Has the size, the skills, the power but he has no heart, hates getting hit, refuses to let his hands go, and evidently very poor stamina now too

We now have a more satisfactory answer to why he never really stepped up in the pros over 7 years than "he's saving his best stuff for the amateurs to prioritize his Olympic medal collection".

Not every great amateur has what it takes in the pros. Jalolov is just the latest example.

We can see why Jalolov has stayed in the amateurs, always seemed to enjoy being the big man, the guy to beat in the amateurs, but didn't want to be challenged in the pros. Or to go back to being the small fish against bigger more game guys.

I'm not 100% sure the ref actually ruled it a knockdown in the 5th (it was clearly one...but the issue was muddled by the foul with Kudukhov hitting Jalolov while down). If he didn't, then at this we might end up with a 4-4 draw with Jalolov winning the first half and Kudukhov the second half, but with Jalolov squeaking by due to Kudukhov's point deduction.

What are the chances they just give it to Jalolov straight out as he was the clear favourite?

Never been all that big on Jalalov. There's a reason why I never did an Educate Yourselves thread on him, even though he won a ****ing Gold Medal. All I saw was an average southpaw with average power. When I don't see it, I don't see it.:nusenuse: Same goes for Agrgrrripppa, who I never even learn to spell his name, he was so unimpressive. That being said, this is is extra pathetic.

Kudukhov showing zero respect for Jalolov's peppering of backfoot counters.

Reminds me a bit of Jalolov vs Joyce in the amateurs, where Jalolov just got out muscled and out manned by Joyce and looked like he felt pretty sorry for himself by the end.

Of course Joe Joyce is a 6'6 260+lb tank of a man.

1st half 40-36 Jalolov (easily winning the first two rounds, with the third and fourth a bit closer)

2nd half 39-35 Kudukhov (winning rounds 5-8, with both the knockdown and deduction in the 5th)

75-75, draw on the IB card.

I'd back Teremoana against Jalolov in the pros, there is actually a chance he would be the favourite after this fight.
